  • Patent number: 6630079
Abstract: The present invention provides a bis(2-pyridinethiol-1-oxide) copper salt coated with one or more compounds selected from glycerin, dialkyl phthalate, lubricating oil, acrylic resin, rosin, fatty acid amide, dialkyl polysulfide, polybutene, paraffin and petrolatum. The coated copper salt does not scatter, so that it is easy to handle, and is superior in safety and workability. In addition, the copper salt does not suffer from any adverse influence on the inherent storage stability or antifouling effect by being coated. Therefore, a coating for the bottom of a ship having a superior antifouling effect and storage stability can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 5787699
Abstract: An inner rotor 5 has a recess 7 formed at a position corresponding to a navel 6 and the recess 7 has a taper surface 7a formed to the peripheral edge thereof. The end surface 6c of the navel 6 can be moved together with a support member 12 to an ordinary spinning position where it can be engaged with a thread Y drawn out through a thread guide and to a thread piecing position where it cannot be engaged therewith. When the thread is pieced, the navel 6 is disposed at the thread piecing position and after a seed thread is introduced into an outer rotor 2 from a thread drawing-out path 6b in the state that both the rotors 2, 5 are rotated, a fiber bundle in a fiber collecting portion 2a is drawn out together with the seed thread and a thread is spun without passing through the thread guide. Thereafter, the navel 6 is moved to the ordinary spinning position.

  • Patent number: 4557022
Abstract: A drafting device for a spinning machine, in which a plurality of loading devices for top rollers is provided, by which each top roller is held in a weighting arm in such a state as being displaceable independently from the other roller without disturbing the drafting operation of the other rollers. By this, a yarn piecing operation in a fasciated yarn spinning system can easily be carried out.

  • Patent number: 4176156
Abstract: A method for heat sterilizing an artificial kidney comprising a receptacle having accommodated therein permselective hollow filaments and including inlet and outlet ports for the blood and inlet and outlet ports for a dialyzate, which comprises(a) filling a primer consisting of water or a water solution into the artificial kidney,(b) connecting a pressure buffer tank to at least one of the inlet and outlet ports,(c) sealing the remaining ports by stopper means,(d) heating the artificial kidney to a temperature of 80.degree. to 130.degree. C. to heat sterilize it, and moving the gas and a part of the primer in the artificial kidney which have been expanded by heating to the pressure buffer tank,(e) cooling the artificial kidney to return the primer in the buffer tank to the artificial kidney, and(f) aseptically sealing the port connected to the pressure buffer tank; and artificial kidneys of specified constituent elements suitable for use in heat sterilization by this method.

  • Patent number: 4109038
Abstract: A suede-like raised woven fabric which comprises: warp yarns; weft yarns, each being a single twist filament yarn or a loopy textured filament yarn consisting of a bundle of fine fibers; and an elastic polymer applied to the fabric. The bundle of fine fibers consists of a raised portion having an average monofilament denier of from 0.05 to 0.4 and an unraised portion having an average monofilament denier of above 0.4 but not exceeding 0.8.

  • Patent number: 4051287
Abstract: A suede-like or deer skin-like raised woven or knitted fabric having at least one raised surface is produced by providing a woven or knitted fabric using a yarn consisting of synthetic hollow composite fibers each composed of two or more fiber-forming polyester constituents and two or more fiber-forming polyamide constituents and having a hollow space surrounded by the polyamide and polyester constituents which are arranged alternately with each other and adhered to each other side-by-side so as to form a tube-shaped body, and raising a surface of the fabric while allowing the hollow composite fibers located in at least the raised surface portion of the fabric to be divided into numerous very fine fibrils consisting of said polyester and polyamide constituents.

  • Patent number: 4023338
Abstract: This invention is applicable for carrying out the doffing operation of several types of fly frames such as a fly frame provided with an upper rail having a plurality of flyers in suspended condition and a mechanism for driving these flyers therein, and a fly frame provided with a spindle rail and a bobbin rail disposed at a position above the spindle rail in such a condition that the bobbin rail can be displaced vertically during the building motion. According to the doffing method of the present invention, when it is required to carry out the doffing operation, the bobbins containing a full yarn package are relatively displaced to a position free from the corresponding flyers and the engagement of the bobbins with the corresponding bobbin driving mechanisms is released. Next the bobbins containing a full yarn package are carried toward a longitudinal end of the fly frame in a space above the arrangement of the bobbin driving mechanisms.

  • Patent number: 4015416
Abstract: A method and device are disclosed for cutting a rove at doffing in a flyer frame, wherein during the normal winding operation thereof the rove drawn out from front rollers is passed through the center hole of a flyer top, the hole of a hollow leg of a flyer, and over a presser and wound on a driven bobbin which is arranged on a bobbin rail moving up and down along the bobbin guide arbor of the flyer. Just before the doffing, the supply of the rove from the front rollers is failed and the bobbin and the flyer are caused to continue rotations substantially at the same speed for a time period sufficient to allow a predetermined number of rotations of both the bobbin and flyer, whereby the rove between the flyer top and the front rollers is subject to a stronger twist than that given during the normal winding operation. This assures that the rove is always cut of itself at an optimum portion thereof at the doffing.
