  • Patent number: 9949157
Abstract: A receiver receives a first packet signal including first position information indicating a position of a radio device from the radio device. A storage stores a list containing the first position information. An acquirer obtains second position information indicating the position of the terminal device. A determiner determines whether it is possible for the receiver to receive a second packet signal from the radio device based on the second position information and on the first position information contained in the list. An estimator estimates that a reception failure occurs in the receiver if the receiver fails to receive the second packet signal when the determiner determines that it is possible to receive the second packet signal.

  • Patent number: 9185032
Abstract: An RF unit, a modem unit and a processing unit receive packet signals sent from other radio apparatuses and broadcast packet signals. If no packet signals are received over a predetermined period of time, a timing control unit has the RF unit, the modem unit and the processing unit perform an intermittent receiving processing and has them stop broadcasting the packet signals. When the packet signals are received while no packet signals has been received over the predetermined period of time, the timing control unit has them perform continuous receiving processing and has them start broadcasting the packet signals.

  • Publication number: 20120077172
Abstract: A digital camera (1) performs shooting such that each student within a classroom is included in a subject, uses an optical flow to detect the action of standing up from a chair or the action of moving a mouth by a student who needs to be a speaker, thus specifies the position of the speaker (any of the students) on a shooting image and extracts image data on the face portion of the speaker. A PC (2) uses a projector (3) to display a material on a screen (4), and superimposes and displays, when the extracted image data is transferred from the digital camera (1), a picture of the face of the speaker on the screen (4) based on the extracted image data.

  • Publication number: 20110279738
Abstract: A projection video display device is provided with a projection unit configured to project a video onto a screen via a lens; and an image pickup unit configured to image the screen. A brightness component selection unit receives an image imaged by the image pickup unit when reference light is projected onto the screen and select, of brightness components of pixels forming the image, a brightness component having the maximum value. An exposure correction unit originates a signal for adjusting exposure time in an image pickup device in the image pickup unit with reference to the selected brightness component. A color correction unit receives an image captured by the image pickup unit after the adjustment and corrects the video so that the brightness components are in equal proportion.

  • Patent number: 7940314
Abstract: Defect correction and other de-noising as well as resolution maintenance and contour correction can all be appropriately performed in an image-signal processing device for processing an image signal from an image sensor. First through third de-noising parts 30a through 30c are provided separately to correspond to a brightness-processing part 36, a color-processing part 40, and a contour-processing part 38, respectively. Among defect-correcting parts 42a through 42c provided to the de-noising parts 30a through 30c, respectively, the defect-correcting part 42c provided to correspond to the contour-processing part 38 is set to a low defect-correction level and maintains contour information. The defect-correcting part 42a provided to correspond to the brightness-processing part 36 is set to an intermediate correction level and corrects pixel defects while maintaining resolution.

  • Patent number: 7855739
Abstract: In an image signal processing apparatus, line memories conventionally provided at a latter stage of the apparatus in order to convert a VGA image signal into a CIF image signal are eliminated. Image data of the VGA held in a unit of one line in plural line memories 60 provided in a digital signal processing circuit are weighted and added in a VLPF 62. A factor setting part 76 of the VLPF 62 changes weighting factors according to a positional relation between a position of a generation object line of the CIF and a line of the VGA. The weighting factors are determined so that a characteristic of trapping ½ of a vertical sampling frequency fv is also obtained. The VLPF 62 uses the weighting factors to trap fv/2, and changes the position of the vertical sampling point to a position of each line of the CIF image.

  • Patent number: 7843498
Abstract: An image signal is input to two LPFs having different transmission characteristics. A selector chooses one of outputs of the respective LPFs and delivers the chosen output to a gamma correction circuit. The switching of the selector is controlled by a filter control circuit. In the filter control circuit, a comparator compares an exposure time E of a current frame with a threshold value R. The selector is controlled so as to select an output of one of the LPFs that has a lower cutoff frequency and a greater noise component elimination effect than the other LPF does if the exposure time E is longer than or equal to the threshold value R.

  • Patent number: 7536367
Abstract: In an image signal processor with which a group of control variables, having relevance to one another, stored in registers are activated synchronously with the switching of a picture, when a host sets the control variable group in the registers, mutual coherency is secured even if the setting operation extends beyond a pulse of a vertical synchronous signal (VD). In order to realize this, an operation for setting a control variable group in a register block (20) by the host, and an operation for reflecting the control variable group in a DSP block (22), are separately performed. After setting of the control variable group, the host sets H level in a VLAT register (30). In correspondence with this operation, a control portion (24) updates an output of a latch circuit (36). As a result, the control variable group is activated from the register block (20) to the DSP block (22).

  • Patent number: 7420623
Abstract: The structure of an image-signal processing apparatus for performing gamma correction and edge enhancement of a image signal is simplified. An edge-correction-gain generation circuit generates a gain signal according to the level of a image signal that has passed through an A-LPF on the basis of a preset transfer characteristic function. An edge-signal generation circuit generates an edge signal corresponding to the edge of the image according to the quadratic differential signal of the image signal. The edge signal is multiplied by the gain signal in a multiplying circuit. An edge-enhanced-signal generation circuit outputs it as an edge enhanced signal. The image signal is subjected to gamma correction by a gamma correction circuit in a different system from the edge-enhanced-signal generation circuit. A combining circuit combines the gamma-corrected image signal with the edge enhanced signal from the edge-enhanced-signal generation circuit.
