  • Patent number: 7948347
Abstract: At least two or more flat rectangular wires having been fed separately or simultaneously (two or more are superimposed) are integrated by being pinched in a width direction and a thickness direction by at least two or more pairs of rollers and are rolled and formed simultaneously in a forming part to be formed into two or more flat rectangular electric wires. The two formed electric wires are stacked in layers in a wind-up part while being wound into a disk shape to provide a multi-stage coil. Two or more systems up to the forming part of the winding apparatus may be disposed in a planar layout. Each system may supply one flat rectangular electric wire separately, and the supplied electric wires may be stacked in layers in the wind-up part while being superimposed. The coil may be molded entirely.

  • Patent number: 7429757
Abstract: A semiconductor light emitting device comprises a metallic support plate 1; a light-reflective reflector 3 mounted on the support plate 1 and formed with a hole 3a; a semiconductor light emitting element 2 mounted on the support plate 1 within the hole 3a of the reflector 3, and a plastic encapsulant 6 for sealing an outer periphery of the reflector 3 and an upper surface 1c of the support plate 1. As the reflector 3 is electrically connected to a wiring conductor 5 or a lead wire 8 extends through a notch 3k formed in the reflector 3 to electrically connect the semiconductor light emitting element 2 and wiring conductor 5, wiring span of the lead wire 8 can be shortened to prevent deformation of the lead wire 8. Simultaneously, diameter of the reflective surface 3c in the reflector 3 is reduced and height of the reflector 3 is increased to improve directivity and axial brightness of light from the semiconductor light emitting device.

  • Publication number: 20060182863
Abstract: A process for producing a carotenoid emulsion characterized by passing a suspension of a carotenoid in toluene through a heated pipe at such a rate as to result in a residence time of 10 to 600 seconds to thereby heat the suspension to 50 to 120° C. and dissolve the carotenoid, immediately mixing the resultant solution with water having a temperature of 5 to 60° C. in the presence of an emulsifying agent to form an emulsion, and distilling off the toluene under vacuum. By the process, an emulsion containing a carotenoid as an active ingredient can be easily and industrially advantageously produced with satisfactory productivity while maintaining a high proportion of wholly trans molecules in the carotenoid.

  • Patent number: 5839827
Abstract: There is provided a mixing apparatus having a mixing vessel which is substantially in the form of a cylinder and an agitating element, the agitating element including at least two bars and at least one connecting member which connects the bars to each other to form the agitating element such that loci of the bars do not essentially coincide with each other when the bars are rotated around an axis of the mixing vessel.

  • Patent number: 5546652
Abstract: An amorphous core/coil assembling apparatus which prevents or minimizes damage to an amorphous core of an amorphous material upon insertion of the amorphous core into a pair of coils and which is high in reliability and superior in operability. An amorphous core of an inverted U-shape is first fixed at a predetermined position, and then a coil receiving table on which a pair of coils are placed is guided to a position at which end portions of the legs of the U-shape of the amorphous core are positioned in the proximity of a pair of V-shaped openable and closeable guide caps, whereafter the guide caps are removed from the end portions of the legs of the amorphous core.

  • Patent number: 5101979
Abstract: A paper sheet handling apparatus including a plurality of sheet accumulating portions and a sheet conveyor. A pointed separator is mounted on the conveyor for movement into a stack of paper sheets accumulated in one sheet accumulating portion to divide the stack into two parts with a gap formed therebetween. Gripping fingers mounted on the conveyor are moved into gripping engagement with one of the divided parts of the stack and then retracted to transfer the gripped part of the stack onto the conveyor. Holding members on the conveyor are movable into the gap to hold the paper sheets of the other part of the stack. The conveyor is movable to convey the gripped paper sheets to another sheet accumulating portion. The gripping fingers are again moved to transfer the thus conveyed sheets to the other sheet accumulating portion.

  • Patent number: 5019249
Abstract: An apparatus for handling sheets of paper has a depositing/dispensing unit for depositing papers put into the apparatus by an operator and for dispensing papers to an operator. Within the apparatus there is a counter unit, a storage box unit and a transporting unit that includes a robot hand for transporting papers between the units. A space is formed within the counter unit between a separating unit and a stacking unit within which the depositing/dispensing unit can move. Also, the space enables maintenance tasks to be performed easily by providing access to the components of the counter unit. The apparatus is capable of handling two kinds of paper in both depositing and dispensing transactions. The counter unit provided with locked covers that prevent access to spaces where paper to be deposited can be stored.
