  • Patent number: 7231129
Abstract: An information reproduction apparatus which can perform repetitive reproduction is provided. In the apparatus, information recorded in an information storage medium is read. The read information is decoded. The decoded information is stored in a predetermined region of a storage device. During reproduction, information is sequentially read out and outputted in order of precedence at the time of writing the decoded information while the decoded information is stored in the predetermined region. When a start position of repetitive reproduction is designated, a repetition reproduction range is set. The repetition reproduction range is a range that would include the decoded information to be reproduced at one repetition reproduction. The decoded information is maintained in the repetition reproduction range.

  • Patent number: 7182732
Abstract: Provide is a blood pressure meter cuff capable of avoiding an influence of an edge effect by pressurizing only a portion of a blood vessel in the downward vicinity of the body surface to thereby measure a correct blood pressure. A blood pressure meter cuff 1 includes: a fluid bag into which a fluid is injected; and a fixing tool fixing the fluid bag on a limb of a human body or the like, wherein a width in the axial direction of the limb, of the fluid bag is a value suitable for selectively pressurizing only a portion of a blood vessel present in the downward vicinity of the skin. In a case where pressurization is imposed on only a portion of the radial artery present in the downward vicinity of the body surface and adjacent to a radial styloid process of a wrist, a width, in the axial direction of a limb, of the fluid bag is set to 15 mm or more and 25 mm or less.

  • Patent number: 6932773
Abstract: Provide is a wrist type blood pressure meter cuff not oppressing the non-selected artery so as to prevent its pulse waves from mixing into pulse waves of the selected artery necessary for measurement, in a cuff used in a blood pressure meter for measuring blood pressures by selecting and oppressing one artery of the wrist. A wrist type blood pressure meter cuff comprises a fluid bag for oppressing a selected artery of either radial artery or ulnar artery located at the wrist by feeding fluid inside to inflate, and a fixing member for fixing the fluid bag at the wrist. By forming a gap between the fixing member and the wrist, the oppressing pressure directly applied from the fixing member to the wrist at which the non-selected artery is located is set smaller than the oppressing pressure directly applied from the fixing member to other position of the wrist when oppressing the wrist by inflating the fluid bag. This gap is produced by a swollen part provided in the fixing member.

  • Publication number: 20050033187
Abstract: A vital sign detection device is mounted on the wrist of a subject for measurement of vital sign such as pulse wave and blood pressure and has a regulating portion for restricting the movement of the hand during a measurement. The regulating portion extends from a main body of the device toward the distal end of the hand, and may be a plate integral with the main body or the main body itself moved toward the distal end. When the device is used for the detection of pulse waves, the plate may have a band for tying the hand to the plate for preventing rotation of the wrist joint. When the device is used for the measurement of blood pressure, the main body of the device, which is slidably or rotatably transported toward the distal end, may suppress the movement of hand enough to prevent the rise of wrist tendons from hindering the measurement.

  • Patent number: 6322517
Abstract: An electronic sphygmomanometer starts from pressurization and then enters a decompression process. When measurement of blood pressure starts, only a standard pressure release rate voltage is applied to a valve from a standard pressure release rate voltage supply circuit through a decompression control circuit. The valve allows air to be discharged slowly at the standard pressure release rate. If the pressure release rate should be increased for decompression, target pressure release rate acceleration value voltage according to the position of a dial is supplied from an external control signal supply unit. The standard pressure release rate voltage is added to the target voltage and the resultant voltage is supplied to the valve via the decompression control circuit. The valve increases the pressure release rate by the amount corresponding to the external control signal voltage.

  • Patent number: 5732506
Abstract: To make it possible to control the external view of flowers of petunias not by breeding but by only controlling cultivation environment, a method of cultivating a petunia having a colored portion and an outer margin in its corolla is proposed, which comprises controlling light quality of cultivation light in the daylight period after a seedling culture stage, in particular, after flower-bud differentiation until blooming to thereby control the proportion of the colored portion to the outer margin in the corolla. Especially, to broaden the outer margin in the corolla of the petunia, it is preferable to use yellow light as the cultivation light, and to narrow it, blue light as the light quality.
