  • Patent number: 5554893
Abstract: A device that provides a control system which is capable of positively preventing a semiconductor from suffering from latch up. In order to prevent this latch up, a control circuit controls the semiconductor through a power source switch. The control circuit is capable of supplying a constant voltage to a power source terminal of the semiconductor when it is electrically connected to the power source circuit by turning on the power source switch, and thereafter supplying a control signal to a control terminal of the semiconductor. The control circuit is capable of stopping the output of the control signal to the control terminal and then stopping the supply of voltage to the power source terminal when disconnected from the power source circuit by turning off the power source.

  • Patent number: 5280781
Abstract: There is disclosed a guide device for guiding an endoscope. The guide device includes an elongate, tubular guide body so flexible as to be bent. An insertion portion of the endoscope is adapted to be inserted into and guided by the guide body. A direction indication mechanism is mounted on an inner periphery of a front end portion of the guide body. The direction indication mechanism includes an annular holder member, and a displacement member supported by the annular holder member for displacement circumferentially of the holder member under the influence of gravity. The endoscope itself is not provided with a direction indication mechanism, and by observing the displacement member from the inner side of the front end portion of the guide body, the direction is confirmed.

  • Patent number: 5224467
Abstract: In order to confirm the direction of each portion of an image picked up by an endoscope, the endoscope includes a direction indication mechanism detachably mounted on a tip member. This direction indication mechanism includes an annular holder member which is held in contact with a front end face of the tip member and is arranged along a peripheral edge of an inspection window, and a displacement member supported by the holder member for displacement circumferentially of the holder member under the influence of gravity. The displacement member has a direction indication portion disposed radially inwardly of the inner peripheral edge of the holder member and the peripheral edge of the inspection widow. The direction indication portion is observed from the inspection window. When the direction indication function is not needed, the direction indication mechanism is detached from the tip member.

  • Patent number: 5215077
Abstract: A direct vision/side vision exchangeable endoscope having two stages of small-diameter and large-diameter threads differing in their diameter are formed on the distal end of the examining portion of the endoscope. A threaded portion to be engaged with the small-diameter thread is formed on the inner side of the rear end of an attachment, and flanges are formed in the vicinity of both ends of the attachment, and an anchoring ring having a thread to be engaged with the large-diameter thread, formed on the inner side of the top end thereof, and an anchoring portion for anchoring the flanges, formed on the inner side of the rear end thereof, is freely set between both the flanges of the attachment.

  • Patent number: 4340302
Abstract: The present invention discloses a construction of an industrial endoscope with a sensor which is used for measuring the position and the moving direction of a distal end of said endoscope. The construction comprises a measuring window at said distal end, light-transmitting optic bundles and light-receiving optic bundles, forward ends of said light-transmitting optic bundles and light-receiving optic bundles being opposed to said measuring window, a backward end of said light-transmitting optic bundles being connected with a light source and a backward end of said light-receiving optic bundles being connected with a detector means. By this construction, a reactor can be safely inspected from a distance, preventing damage to said distal end and elimination of potential radiation danger to the inspector.

  • Patent number: 4277168
Abstract: The present invention discloses an endoscope with means for detecting the direction and angle of rotation of a distal examining end. A guide tube with a mark or a porthole is provided around the distal examining end for a standard of measuring. Said mark or the porthole is counted by a pair of detecting optic bundles and optical detecting means such as, for example a photoelectric element, which are provided at the distal examining end. By these constructions, the relative rotation between the guide tube and the distal examining end is detected. Accordingly, damage to the distal examining end can be prevented.
