  • Patent number: 9011313
Abstract: According to the present invention, a movable wall portion for forming the outer circumference of an infant accommodation space can pivot forward about a portion of a region including the lower end portion and its vicinity of the movable wall portion from a substantially erect position to the outside of the infant accommodation space. The movable wall portion can move backward from a midway position in forward movement to the final backward moving position by its own weight while abrupt backward movement is suppressed by a damper. The present invention can provide a movable wall portion attachment mechanism of an incubator which does not produce a large sound or a large vibration when closing the movable wall portion, with a small chance that wall portions such as wall portions on the incubator base side, the movable wall portion or the like will be damaged.

  • Patent number: 8408209
Abstract: A pressure controller for an artificial respirator according to this invention includes a control valve facing a gas passage between an inspiratory gas inlet and an inspiratory gas outlet, and an elastic biasing means for elastically biasing the control valve against a valve seat. When an adjustment manipulating member moves backward, even the pivotal motion of the adjustment manipulating member does not operate an adjustment operating member. When the adjustment manipulating member is pulled out, the pivotal motion of the adjustment manipulating member operates the adjustment operating member, thereby adjusting the elastic biasing force of the elastic biasing means. This invention provides a pressure controller for an artificial respirator capable of reliably preventing unnecessary operating of the adjustment operating member although the pivoting operation of the adjustment manipulating member is simple as a whole, and there is no possibility that the adjustment manipulating member and the like are broken.

  • Publication number: 20060199490
Abstract: In an incubator, in a state in which a door closes a porthole, a packing prevents an air current flowing between walls of a double-wall of a hood from entering the hood through a porthole in the inner wall. Therefore, the air current does not enter the hood through the porthole in the inner wall. In a state in which the door opens the porthole, because the packing separates from the porthole in the inner wall, the air current flows between the porthole in the inner wall and the porthole in the outer wall. Therefore, an air curtain is formed in the porthole. As a result, a suitable environment in the hood is invariably maintained in both of states in which the door closes and opens the porthole.
