Abstract: A sink device wirelessly transmits a device capability response message to a source device. The device capability response message includes a video information message including at least one video format identification code (VIC) for identifying a video format of video data, which the sink device can display, and a coded video information message including compressing parameters for compressing video data. The VIC includes a VIC for 4k2k video data having 3840 or 4096 effective horizontal pixels and 2160 effective vertical pixels.

Abstract: Upon measuring a packet round trip time RTT from a source device to a sink device, the source device requests a band management unit of a network to allocate bands for round trip packets. The band management unit notifies a reservation period Tsource for transmitting a packet from the source device to the sink device and a reservation period Tsink for sending back a packet from the sink device to the source device, using a beacon signal. The reservation period Tsource is allocated within a time period starting from a middle timing of a time cycle Tbeacon of the beacon signal, and the reservation period Tsink is allocated at a middle timing between the reservation period Tsource and the beacon signal right after the reservation period Tsource.

Abstract: When a source device measures a packet round trip time RTT from the source device to a sink device, a band management unit allocates a reservation period for transmitting an RTT test command from the source device to the sink device and a reservation period for transmitting an RTT response setting request command from the sink device to the source device within a super frame period. At a start timing of the reservation period, a controller transmits the RTT test command and starts measuring the RTT. Upon receiving the RTT response setting request command, the controller finishes measuring the RTT.

Abstract: In a wireless repeater apparatus communicating with wireless communication apparatuses, a switching circuit transfers a data packet received through any one of antennas to any one of antennas for transmission. A correspondence table memory stores a correspondence table that includes relations of an identifier of each antenna between an identifier of each wireless communication apparatus. A wireless repeater apparatus control circuit controls transfer of the data packet by the switching circuit based on the correspondence table.
