  • Patent number: 5691072
Abstract: Disclosed is a magneto-optical recording medium adapted for reproduction of a high resolution signal without the necessity of a reproducing magnetic field, whereby the magneto-optical recording medium comprises a transparent substrate, a reproducing layer, a switch layer and a recording layer formed on the transparent substrate successively. The reproducing layer is a perpendicular magnetization film at a room temperature but is turned to an in-plane magnetization film when heated beyond a predetermined temperature. Each of the switch layer and the recording layer is a perpendicular magnetization film. The respective Curie temperatures Tc1, Tc2 and Tc3 of the reproducing layer, the switch layer and the recording layer satisfy the relationship of Tc1>Tc3>Tc2.

  • Patent number: 5322864
Abstract: An epoxy resin composition comprising (a) a low-viscosity epoxy resin having a viscosity of not more than 100 poise at 25.degree. C. which contains a tri- or tetrafunctional liquid aromatic epoxy resin, (b) a liquid curing agent selected from the group consisting of an imidazole compound, the combination of a liquid alicyclic acid anhydride and an imidazole compound, the combination of a liquid alicyclic amine and an imidazole compound, (c) a metal powder having an average particle size of not more than 125 .mu.m or an inorganic powder consisted of 50 parts or more by weight of a metal powder having an average particle size of not more than 125 3/4m and less than 50 parts by weight of an inorganic filler other than a metal powder, whose average particle size is smaller than that of the metal powder, based on the total amount of the metal powder and the inorganic filler.

  • Patent number: 5252638
Abstract: A casting resin composition curable with an epoxy resin curing agent is described, which comprises at least one kind of an epoxy resin selected from bisphenol A diglycidyl ether and bisphenol F diglycidyl ether, a tri-functional or tetra-functional liquid epoxy resin, and an iron powder, the ratio of the iron powder being from 60 to 80% by weight to the amount of the whole resin composition. The casting resin composition can give a cured product having a high hardness and an excellent abrasion resistance.

  • Patent number: 4892080
Abstract: A high-energy ignition system for an internal combustion engine in which both magnetic and electrical energy stored in an energy storage coil and in a capacitor are supplied to the primary winding of an ignition coil at a predetermined timing. When a first or second switching device is turned off, the capacitor is charged with the energy stored in advance in the energy storage coil, and upon subsequent turning on of the first switching device, energy is stored in the energy storage coil from a DC power supply. At substantially the same time as the turning off of the first switching device at an ignition timing, the second switching device is turned on to supply the primary winding with the energy stored in the energy storage coil and the capacitor. Alternatively, the capacitor is charged with the energy stored in advance in the energy storage coil through the primary winding of the ignition coil and a charging diode at the time of turning off of the second switching device.
