  • Publication number: 20030088383
Abstract: Annular grooves are formed on both end surfaces of a recording drum to be rotated, and two balance weights are disposed inside each of the annular grooves. The balance weight is composed of a magnet, and is attracted to the end surface of the recording drum by its magnetic force. The two balance weights are arranged at a predetermined attaching angle such that an unbalance force caused by centrifugal forces developed by a plate, a movable clamp, and so forth is canceled. Every time the size and the mass of the plate are changed, the positions of the two balance weights are adjusted, so that forced vibration in the recording drum is restrained.

  • Publication number: 20020167688
Abstract: Provided is a drum surface scanner with which punched holes and/or cuts can be formed in a plate which has been correctly defined by position, and the plate can be clamped to a recording drum. When a plate P comes in front of movable pins 113, i.e., on a hole punch unit 4 side, the upper roller of a conveyor roller 125 moves down, and conveyor rollers 124 and 125, and conveyor belts 111 all start rotating in the positive direction. Once the plate P moves out of the range covered by a sensor PH159, the movable pins 113 follow the tail end of the plate P at a given distance therefrom. When the front end of the plate P reaches the hole punch unit 4, the movable pins 113 which have been chasing the plate P push the tail end thereof to make the front end thereof abut to the hole punch unit 4. At the same time, based on the movement amount of the movable pins 113 from their original positions to current positions pushing the tail end of the plate P, the plate P is checked for its length Y.

  • Patent number: 5596605
Abstract: In the case where a received multi-level orthogonal amplitude signal is not synchronized with a local carrier frequency signal, a digital multiplexing radio receiver recognizes that an adaptively-equalized data exist in a specified area on the phase plane of Ich and Qch orthogonal coordinates. The receiver controls an operation of amplifying Ich and Qch demodulated signals to a fixed level, based on the data of which exist in the specified area. Similarly, the receiver controls a phase of the local carrier frequency signal based on the data of existing in the specified area, and controls tap coefficients of an adaptive transversal filter which equalizes the received multi-level orthogonal amplitude signal. In the specified area, a distance between signal points of multi-level orthogonal amplitude signal is large so that influence caused by a phase rotation is small. Accordingly, the digital multiplexing radio receiver can rapidly and stably return to a synchronous mode.

  • Patent number: 5433000
Abstract: A multilayer wiring board is constructed of insulating substrates and circuit patterns formed thereon. A manufacturing method produces the multilayer wiring board by forming a mask on one surface of the multilayer substrate. The mask has apertures registered with blind holes and/or a through hole wherein the apertures have different diameters depending on the depths of the blind holes and/or the through hole such that the larger the depth, the larger the diameter. Etching is performed on the multilayer substrate corresponding to the smallest aperture using an abrasive powder having a particle size smaller than the diameter of the smallest aperture. Portions of the multilayer substrate are gradually etched corresponding to the other apertures using abrasive powders having particle sizes smaller than the diameters of the other apertures wherein the blind holes having the desired depths and/or the through hole are formed in the multilayer substrate.

  • Patent number: 5347712
Abstract: A multilayer wiring board and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. The wiring board comprises an insulating substrate having a first and second conductor layers formed on major surfaces of the insulating substrate, a blind hole formed through the first conductor layer and the insulating substrate to expose the second conductor layer at the bottom of the blind hole, and a connecting conductor provided to cover the exposed surface of the second conductor layer wall portion of the blind hole and the first conductor layer. Since the connecting conductor and the second conductor are made in surface contact, connection reliability is very much improved. The blind hole is made by blasting a fine abrasive powder beam to selectively remove the insulating substrate. The end of selective removal can be easily controlled by the difference of working speed against the insulating substrate and the conductor layer to successfully expose the second conductor layer at the bottom of the blind hole.
