    Abstract: A vehicle-use key for storing and for acquisition of information on a vehicle. The vehicle-use key permits an individual to use the vehicle, to prevent the key from being taken away when the vehicle is stolen and for finding the stolen vehicle. A vehicle-use key is used for starting a vehicle, and is configured to include a radio communication part (RFID) which performs communication with an external communication device. By providing the radio communication part to the vehicle-use key which an owner of a vehicle carries with him/her, information (data) can be transmitted or received between the radio communication part and the reader/writer of a PC terminal installed in a dealer or the like by radio. Thus, vehicle history data, maintenance history data and the like on a vehicle associated with the vehicle-use key can be transmitted and received and stored when necessary.

The mold resin and the meter panel are both made of a resin material having transmissivity to electromagnetic waves. Information is wirelessly transferred to and from the IC tag, and may be managed using a data management system.

    Abstract: The viscosity of a puncture-preventing sealant (7) is set in a range of 25 to 35 dPa·s, and a thixotropy index is set in a range of 6.5 to 11.0, the sealant (7) being filled in a sealant chamber (6) defined to extend along an outer periphery of an air chamber (5) in a tire (T). When the tire (T) is being rotated by traveling of a vehicle, the viscosity of the sealant (7) is reduced by a stirring action provided by a vibration or a centrifugal force of the sealant (7), whereby the sealant (7) can be diffused uniformly in the sealant chamber (6). When the vehicle has been stopped and the stirring action has been extinguished, the viscosity of the sealant (7) is increased, whereby the sealant (7) is maintained in a state in which it has been diffused uniformly in the sealant chamber (6) without flowing downwards in the sealant chamber (6) by gravitation. Therefore, even when the vehicle is travelling at a high speed, the generation of a vibration and a noise can be prevented.

The card issuance device issues a card having a storage medium for storing the information. The checking device checks and compares information read out from the card, information read out from the IC tag, and information read out from the database, to thus validating the owner of the product. The product management system prevents a product which has been sold from being illegally used by or dealt with a person other than a valid owner.

    Abstract: A mounting structure for a tire pressure sensing system. The tire pressure sensing system includes a pressure sensor placed on a wheel to sense pressure of a tire which is mounted on the wheel. The wheel is a cast wheel for a vehicle including a rim portion where the tire is mounted, a hub portion provided at the center of the rim portion, and spoke portions connecting the rim portion and the hub portion. The pressure sensor is placed in a boundary portion between the rim portion and the spoke portions. Since the pressure sensor is placed in the boundary portion between the rim portion and the spoke portions, a portion protruding into the tire when replacing a tire can be reduced. Consequently, workability for tire replacement can be improved.

The tubeless pneumatic tire includes an annular tread portion, and a pair of sidewall portions extending radially inwardly from laterally opposite sides of the tread portion. An intermediate liner is provided inside of the tread portion, along with a first release sheet on the outer surface of the intermediate liner, and a second release sheet on the inner surface of the intermediate liner. A sealing chamber, for encapsulating a puncture sealant, is further provided inside of the intermediate liner. The puncture sealant may include both fibers and particles, to enhance sealing of the puncture hole.

    Abstract: In a sealant-containing tire, an outer liner is fastened to an inner surface of a tread of a tire body, and a sealant chamber that is filled with sealant is defined between the outer liner and the inner liner, with an air chamber filled with air also being defined within the inner liner. By making the inner liner of flexible rubber of a 300% modulus of 60 kgf/cm2 or less, not only is a puncture in the inner liner caused by a nail made smaller, but the puncture is rapidly made smaller after withdrawal of the nail so that the flowing out of air from the air chamber is delayed. The flexible inner liner can easily be deformed by the air pressure within the air chamber and the sealant within the sealant chamber is therefore rapidly pushed into a puncture of the tread by the air pressure, thereby effectively repairing the puncture.
