Abstract: An animal feeder for automatically preparing a fresh food batch of mixed liquids and solids in an animal's feeding dish, at pre-set timed intervals.The feeder is substantially a three-level structure. At the top level, a hopper compartment contains a hopper rotor rotatable about a vertical axis; the hopper rotor includes several hoppers, each containing one batch of food solid granules.A motor compartment under the hopper compartment contains the hopper driving motor, and preferably, the timing instrumentation for controlling the feeder. At the lowest level, is a food dish compartment containing the animal's feeding dish.A chute is provided between the hopper compartment and the feeding dish. At each feeding period, the motor rotates the hopper rotor through a few degrees of angle of rotation to place a full hopper just above the chute.
