  • Patent number: 8736803
Abstract: A mother TFT substrate having plural TFT substrates, and a mother counter substrate having plural counter substrates are bonded together to form a mother panel. At this time, the interior of the mother panel is sealed only with a sealing material, without forming a sealant separately in seal portions. The mother counter substrate has plural counter substrates of liquid crystal cells. A sealing material is arranged in two rows surrounding the counter substrates in the periphery of the mother counter substrate, except for the seal portions in which seal portion sealing materials are arranged in two rows in a staggered manner on the short sides. When the mother counter substrate and the mother TFT substrate are overlapped and the inside air is let out, the sealing materials are heated. Then, the seal portion sealing materials are bridged together to seal the interior of the mother panel.

  • Publication number: 20110292332
Abstract: The present invention prevents an unrubbed portion caused by asperities formed on a surface of an alignment layer of a TFT substrate or a counter substrate. A TFT substrate is disposed on a rubbing stage and a projecting portion is formed on a surface of the TFT substrate by TFT wiring. The projecting portion on the surface causes an unrubbed portion, that is, a rubbing shadow particularly at the downstream of rubbing. In a rubbing step, two rubbing rollers that rotate in different directions are provided and the TFT substrate is rubbed in contact with the two rubbing rollers that rotate in different directions, which eliminates the influence of the rubbing shadow. Thus light leakage is prevented in black display.

  • Patent number: 5545024
Abstract: A screw for a double-shaft extruding device having a shaft and a spiral flight provided at an outer periphery of the shaft. A height of the flight from an axis of the shaft is substantially constant. An angle of torsion of a spiral of the flight becomes smaller toward a shaft distal end. A cross-sectional area of extrusion formed by the shaft and the flight continuously increases from the shaft distal end to a shaft proximal end. Material can be smoothly discharged and completely extruded.

  • Patent number: 5181976
Abstract: A pneumatic tire having excellent tire performances in winter and summer seasons comprises a tread, a part of which is comprised of an expanded rubber in a volume corresponding to at least 10% of the total volume of the tread at its surface. This expanded rubber contains particular rubber component and particular high reinforcing carbon black and oil, and has particular number of closed cells having a specified cell diameter to the total number of closed cells. Furthermore, a rubber reinforcing layer is arranged near to the tread shoulder.

  • Patent number: 5055245
Abstract: In a method of controlling a tire vulcanization by controlling a heat supply to a vulcanizing machine including a mold unit and a bladder unit, temperatures at points on a boundary between the mold unit and a tire are measured by means of temperature sensors, a temperature at a center post assembly of the bladder unit is measured by a temperature sensor arranged at the center post assembly. The method includes calculating temperature profiles within the tire from the measured temperatures by using the finite difference method, estimating vulcanization profiles within the tire from the temperature profile, deriving the least vulcanization within the tire from the vulcanization profiles, and producing a stop signal for the heat supply to the vulcanizing machine in accordance with the least vulcanization thus derived.
