    Abstract: A personal security alarm characterized by a hand unit transmitter and a torso unit receiver/alarm. The transmitter of the hand unit is actuated by a button positioned at the palm of the user. As the user either voluntarily or involuntarily clutches his or her fist, the actuator button is depressed to energize the transmitter and cause the torso unit to emit a loud, penetrating alarm. The torso unit can only be turned off with a hidden switch.
