    Abstract: A shutter is provided which is moved up and down by the use of the urging force of a take-up spring for turning a take-up shaft that winds up a number of slats and the weight of the slats. These slats are mutually coupled vertically expandably and a number of slits are formed in expandable portions of individual slats. The shutter includes a slit open/close means for expanding and contracting the slats to open/close the slits.
