  • Patent number: 6432839
Abstract: The invention is a method for forming a flattened interlayer insulating film covering a wiring layer or the like of a semiconductor IC device, and a method of manufacturing a semiconductor device. The film-forming method includes the steps of preparing a deposition gas containing an inert gas, and a silicon and phosphorus-containing compound having III valance phosphorus in which at least one oxygen is bonded to the phosphorous, and forming a silicon containing insulating film containing P2O3 on a substrate by using the deposition gas.

  • Patent number: 5802455
Abstract: A selective calling receiver previously stores a predetermined number of calling numbers and selectively receives a message according to one of the calling numbers. The received message and its corresponding calling number are sequentially stored onto a message memory. A font data memory stores a plurality of message fonts each corresponding to a different calling number group. In the font data memory, the calling numbers are divided into a plurality of caller groups each consisting of at least one calling number. In response to the user's instruction, the font data memory is searched for a message font based on the corresponding calling number to display the message with the message font on a display.

  • Patent number: 5710576
Abstract: A portable electronic device has a construction in which a first housing and a second housing are capable of being opened and closed and a display is mounted on an inner side of the first housing. A partial display area of the display is in a visible state even if the second housing is closed, and the full display area becomes in a visible state when the second housing is opened. An open/close state of the housings is detected by an open/close detector mounted on the first housing or the second housing. It may be detected by a user operating a predetermined key. According to the detected open/close state, a displaying area of the information is changed between the partial display area and the full display area. At the open state, the information is displayed in the full display area. At the closed state, the information is displayed in the partial display area.

  • Patent number: 5703572
Abstract: When a switch for manually terminating an informing operation of a call informing device is not depressed during an informing operation, the informing operation is automatically halted after a first set time of a first timer. After a second period of time T, determined by a second timer, elapses from the start of the informing operation, the informing operation is repeated for the first set time of the first timer. After the second period of time T elapses from the start of the second informing operation, the informing operation is repeated. The informing operations are performed, halted and repeated until the user terminates the operation of the call informing device. During the period of time from the first informing operation to the depression of the switch, a counter and a timer setting circuit increment the second period of time (halt interval) to N.T corresponding to the increase in the number N times of the informing operation.
