  • Patent number: 6281644
Abstract: To prevent adverse effect, on machining accuracy, of cogging thrust of linear motors when used in a combined linear motor driving a machine tool. Three linear motor movers are fixedly attached to a moving table of a machine tool, while three linear motor stators are fixedly attached to a base. The three linear motors are driven in parallel to thereby drive the moving table. The respective linear motor stators are fixed to the base so as to have fixed phases relative to the base, stepwisely displaced by an electrical angle 60° whereby cogging thrust is leveled in the entire combined linear motor.

  • Patent number: 6258575
Abstract: An oil or fat phase is provided above an aqueous phase in a substrate-feeding chamber such that there is a distinct interface between the phases. The phases are separately removed from the chamber, mixed together and fed to an immobilized-enzyme reaction column to produce a reaction mixture. The mixture is fed to the substrate-feeding chamber and introduced into the oil or fat phase such that the interface remains distinct and undisturbed, and monoglycerides, diglycerides and fatty acids remain in the oil or fat phase and water and glycerol separate into the aqueous phase. Steps of the process are repeated while maintaining the interface distinct and undisturbed in the substrate-feeding chamber until a desired degree of oil or fat hydrolysis is obtained. The mixture from the reaction column may be fed to a mixing chamber, mixed with water from the substrate-feeding chamber, and fed to the substrate-feeding chamber.

  • Patent number: 5283508
Abstract: A positional control apparatus capable of readily moving a movable part of an NC device in any desired direction by using a particular handle. The handle is mounted on the movable part by a holding part. When an operator gripping the handle wishes to move the movable part in the desired direction, a strength and a direction of force given to the handle are detected by force sensors, and an axial moving amount calculation means calculates the moving amount of each control axis in consideration of the strength and the direction of the force given to the handle, detected by the force sensors as a strength and a direction of an acceleration given to the movable part. By the moving amount of each control axis, obtained by the axial moving amount calculation means, the positional control of the movable part is performed.

  • Patent number: 5144214
Abstract: In a numerical control system which controls the rotational angle of a spindle in a numerically controlled machine and tool in synchronism with the position of a feed axis based on a data table storing information for positional commands for the feed axis in correspondence with the rotational angle of the spindle, a universal purpose turning operation is effected at a higher efficiency by generating a marker pulse when a value set by counting the pulses in A- and B-phases from a spindle pulse generator has reached a pre-set value, and by controlling synchronization during synchronized operation, based on the marker pulse instead of the marker phase pulse from the spindle pulse generator.

  • Patent number: 5019763
Abstract: For controlling the rotation angle of a main shaft of a numerical control machine tool in synchronization with the position of a feed shaft, the learning control method according to the present invention comprises steps of reading the positional command value of the feed shaft corresponding to the detected value of the current revolutional angle of said main shaft out of the table which stores in advance the positional instruction values corresponding to the angle equivalent to one rotation of the shaft, subtracting the detected value of the current position of the feed shaft from the read out positional value to obtain the positional deviation table of the shaft, renewing the correction value table of the positional deviation values of the shaft which are stored in advance by using afore-mentioned deviation table, and suspending the renewal operation of the correction table of the positional deviation when the difference between the positional deviation table which has been added with the correction value ta

  • Patent number: 4983899
Abstract: A numerical control apparatus is provided for controlling a position of a feed shaft in relation to a rotational angle of a main shaft of a machine tool. A value denoting the actual position of the feed shaft is subtracted from a positional command value to obtain a positional deviation value. The positional command value is one of a plurality of prestored values corresponding to a given rotational position of the main shaft. The positional deviation values for a single rotation of the main shaft are stored in a data table and displayed on a display device. Another data table having a plurality of correction values stored therein is provided. Each of the plurality of correction values stored in the correction value data table corresponds to a given rotational position of the main shaft. For each rotational position of the main shaft, the positional deviation value and a corresponding correction value are added together to obtain a corrected deviation value.
