  • Publication number: 20240123945
Abstract: A wiper washer control apparatus includes an ignition sensor, a shift position sensor, a wiper driving unit, a washer spraying unit, a wiper lever detection unit, and a wiper washer control unit. The wiper washer control unit changes a control to be performed by the wiper driving unit to a delay mode when receiving information indicating that the traveling driver is in the started state from the ignition sensor, receiving information indicating that a shift position is in a parking range from the shift position sensor, and receiving information indicating that the delay mode is to be started from the wiper lever detection unit. The wiper washer control unit changes the control to be performed by the wiper driving unit to a spray mode when receiving, in the delay mode, information indicating that the spray mode is to be started from the wiper lever detection unit.

  • Publication number: 20240109510
Abstract: An extension unit includes a buckle member, a first coupling member, a second coupling member, and a webbing belt. The buckle member is engaged with a first tongue plate of a seat belt apparatus, includes a first holder holding the webbing belt, and a fixing member fixing an end of the webbing belt. The second coupling member is disposed between the buckle member and the first coupling member and coupled to the first coupling member. The webbing belt joins the buckle member and the first coupling member. The second coupling member is so disposed that a projected region extending inward in a vehicle width direction is defined. The projected region has a size corresponding to a thickness of an operator's hand and is not overlapped with the buckle member. The second coupling member includes a second holder holding the webbing belt extending from the first holder to the fixing member.

  • Patent number: 10647254
Abstract: A display device for a vehicle includes a collision predictor, a display member, and a display controller. The collision predictor detects a moving body sideward of a course of the vehicle and predicts collision of the vehicle with the moving body detected. The display member provides display of an image or display of a mark, for view of a driver seated on a driver's seat of the vehicle. The image or the mark corresponds to the moving body. The display controller performs a control of the display member. The display controller changes the display of the image or the display of the mark more significantly than a motion of the moving body as actually seen from the driver's seat, on a condition that the collision predictor predicts the collision.

  • Patent number: 10315556
Abstract: An information providing apparatus in a vehicle coordinates with a first light emitter including light-emitting elements arranged in a linear form including at least one line on a compartment side of a door of the vehicle, and a second light emitter projecting light onto a projection target member in a forward visual field of a driver of the vehicle. The information providing apparatus repeatedly acquires status information including surroundings status indicating status of surroundings of the vehicle, and executes control to the first light emitter and second light emitter based on the status information. The control makes the first light emitter and second light emitter provide light emission in a light emission mode associated with acquired surroundings status indicated by the status information.

  • Patent number: 10083612
Abstract: Provided is a display device for a vehicle. The display device includes a display member and a collision predictor. The collision predictor detects one or more moving bodies on and around a course of the vehicle, and predicts collision of the vehicle with the one or more moving bodies detected, and a position of the collision. The display member displays a collision-position mark at a display position in a visual field of a driver, on a condition that the collision of the vehicle with any one of the one or more moving bodies is predictable. The display position is superimposed on the predicted position of the collision. The display member displays a delineator mark that associates the collision-position mark with the relevant one of the one or more moving bodies detected.

  • Publication number: 20170182936
Abstract: An information providing apparatus in a vehicle cooperates with a light emitting unit including light emitting elements that are arranged in at least one string line on a vehicle-interior side of a door of the vehicle. The information providing apparatus includes an information acquisition section and a light emitting control section. The information acquisition section acquires repeatedly situation information including a peripheral situation that indicates a situation on a peripheral region surrounding the vehicle. The light emitting control section controls the light emitting unit based on the situation information acquired by the information acquisition section. The light emitting control section controls the light emitting unit so that the light emitting unit emits light in a light emitting mode associated with an acquired peripheral situation that is the peripheral situation indicated by the situation information acquired by the information acquisition section.
