  • Publication number: 20240116484
Abstract: Provided is a brake control device which reliably generates wheel cylinder fluid pressure in all the wheels FR to RR even at the time of failure of the brake control device, can reliably decelerate or stop a vehicle, has a simplified system configuration, and has high reliability for automatic driving. A brake device 101 of the present invention includes a first fluid pressure unit 102p which supplies brake fluid to first wheel cylinders 118a and 118d, a second fluid pressure unit 102s which supplies brake fluid to second wheel cylinders 118b and 118c, and a connection pipe 119 which connects the first fluid pressure unit and the second fluid pressure unit to allow the brake fluid to flow. The first fluid pressure unit and the second fluid pressure unit open a first shut-off valve 104p and a second shut-off valve 104s, respectively, in a case where a failure is detected in at least one of the first fluid pressure unit and the second fluid pressure unit.

  • Patent number: 8138729
Abstract: The present invention provides, as one aspect, a generation control apparatus for vehicles which controls current supply to a field winding of a generator to control output voltage of the generator. The apparatus includes a switching element connected to the field winding, and a duty determining unit that increases a drive duty for interrupting the switching element when output voltage of the generator becomes lower than a predetermined regulated voltage. The apparatus also includes a load response control unit that performs load response control for limiting an increase rate of the drive duty determined by the duty determining unit, after expiration of a predetermined time from application of an electrical load.

  • Patent number: 7471002
Abstract: A voltage controller has an integrated control circuit having a plurality of lead wires, a plurality of connecting terminals, and a terminal holding body holding the terminals such that a portion of each terminal is protruded from a surface of the body so as to be connected with one lead wire. The control circuit controls an output voltage of an alternator by receiving or outputting signals transmitted through the lead wires and the connecting terminals. The protruded terminals are disposed so as to be aligned along a plurality of lines on the surface of the body. Therefore, an on-surface distance between terminals adjacent to each other is sufficiently set at a large value, and the arrangement of the terminals prevents the terminals from being short-circuited.

  • Patent number: 7329966
Abstract: A vehicle generator control system detects a time point at which an electrical load is to be disconnected from the generator output, with the detection being achieved prior to that disconnection time point, and initiates a lowering of the generated current of the generator by an amount equal to the load current of that electrical load. The generated current of the generator is thereby reduced, by the time of the disconnection, to a value whereby substantially no voltage spike is produced in the generator output voltage.

  • Patent number: 7327545
Abstract: An electric generation control device detects the occurrence of a failure such as a short circuit failure and an open failure in one of a pair of power transistors, which form a H bridge circuit composed of excitation switching elements and regeneration switching elements for controlling the electric generation of an electric generator, by measuring a voltage difference between both end terminals of a field winding of the electric generator. When detecting the failure of the power transistor based on the voltage difference measured, the electric generation control device provides warning of the occurrence of the failure through a charge lamp and controls the operation of by using the remaining normal power transistors in order to continue the electric generation of the electric generator.
