  • Patent number: 7383168
Abstract: A method and system for element testing is described. A first module is generated and has at least one associated state. A second module is generated based on the first module. The second module is associated with a test element. The test element is controlled based on the second module and the states, and the test element is applied to a design-under-test. Data flow information, determined while applying the test element to the design-under-test, is store in a transaction database, and the data items read and modified by the data flow information are stored in a data database. At least one result is determined based on the application of the test element to the design-under-test.

  • Patent number: 5734385
Abstract: An information setting section sets positional information of a point on each polygon to express the positions of polygons in each of a plurality of surfaces which is represented by a plurality of segmented polygons. A plurality of radiosity maps are set in association with a plurality of surfaces, and pixel values representing the radiosity maps are stored in association with the positional information of the individual polygons set by the information setting section. A map referring/drawing section reads the pixel value representing the radiosity map corresponding to each positional information stored in the radiosity map corresponding to each surface to form a radiosity image.

  • Patent number: 5214754
Abstract: A computer graphic apparatus uses a method and apparatus to approximate a polygonal line of a plurality of line segments (L.sub.1, L.sub.2 . . . ) to a curve (X). The curve is divided into two curve portions (P.sub.10 P.sub.11, P.sub.11 P.sub.02) at a division point (P.sub.11). An error (e) between a line segment (P.sub.01 P.sub.02) linking the start and end points (P.sub.01, P.sub.02) of the curve and the division point is compared with a predetermined value (V.sub.th). When the error is small, the line segment is treated as one part of the polygonal line, but in another case, the above-mentioned process is repeated.
