  • Patent number: 11983856
Abstract: An image display system includes a body, a first correction unit, and a second correction unit. The body houses a display unit to display an image and projects a virtual image, corresponding to the image, onto a target space using outgoing light of the display unit. The first correction unit corrects for distortion of the image. The second correction unit corrects a display location of the image on the display unit in accordance with an orientation signal representing a change in orientation of the body. Each of divisional areas of a display screen of the display unit is assigned with a distortion correction parameter for correcting for the distortion of the virtual image. The first correction unit applies distortion correction to each of the image regions of the image on the display screen based on a distortion correction parameter assigned to a divisional area where the image region is displayed.

  • Publication number: 20090133973
Abstract: A parking brake apparatus includes a first braking member provided at a wheel and integrally rotated with the wheel, a second braking member provided at a vehicle body side for stopping a rotation of the first braking member, a parking brake device for pressing the second braking member to the first braking member by an operating force of a parking brake operation, a pressurizing device for pressurizing a brace fluid independently of the parking brake operation, and a hydraulic pressure controlling device for preliminarily pressing the second braking member to the first braking member by a brake fluid pressure pressurized by the pressurizing device in a case when the second braking member is pressed to the first braking member by means of the parking brake device.

  • Patent number: 5988767
Abstract: A hydraulic braking pressure control apparatus for an automotive vehicle includes a master cylinder mounted on a brake booster for applying a braking force, a master cylinder reservoir provided on the master cylinder for supplying hydraulic fluid to the master cylinder, and a solenoid valve body mounted on the master cylinder. The solenoid valve body includes a plurality of solenoid valves and a fluid circuit operatively connected to the master cylinder for generating a braking pressure to be supplied to wheel brake cylinders. A pump body is mounted on the master cylinder and includes a pump device for returning hydraulic fluid to the master cylinder and the solenoid valve body. A pump motor drives the pump device, with the pump motor being mounted on the master cylinder and being symmetrically disposed with respect to the solenoid valve body.

  • Patent number: 4936637
Abstract: An anti-skid apparatus for installation in a vehicle braking system having a master cylinder, a wheel brake cylinder and a primary fluid passage connecting these cylinders includes a changeover valve disposed in the primary fluid passage to selectively communicate the wheel brake cylinder with the master cylinder or with a reservoir, and a fluid pump for pumping a brake fluid from the reservoir and returning it to a portion of the primary fluid passage between the master cylinder and the changeover valve. The anti-skid apparatus further includes a control valve disposed in that portion of the primary fluid passage. The control valve comprises a piston slidably disposed in a housing, and a valve member slidably disposed in the piston and seatable on a valve seat with a cutout formed thereon. The control valve allows a flow of the brake fluid from the master cylinder and/or the fluid pump to the wheel brake cylinder through the changeover valve without restriction in normal braking operation.
