Publication number: 20150049877Abstract: During a sound pressure measurement operational mode, when a distance from a vehicle and a corresponding required sound pressure level are specified, a control part causes a test sound to be outputted externally from an external sound output part by making a sound signal generation part generate a test sound signal as an external output sound signal. By doing this, the control part controls the signal level of the test sound signal as a result of sound pickup by a sound pickup part of the test sound outputted outside the vehicle, and thereby determines an adjustment value for the signal level of the test sound signal that can minimize the output sound volume, while the externally outputted sound propagated through the space outside the vehicle still satisfies required sound pressure conditions. The control part registers the determined adjustment value in a sound pressure adjustment table within a storage part.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 28, 2012Publication date: February 19, 2015Inventor: Toshiyuki Horie

Publication number: 20080030417Abstract: A disk-shaped reflecting plate 3 for reflecting an electric wave emitted out of an aperture 1a of a circular waveguide 1 is placed a location which is just opposite to the aperture 1a of the circular waveguide 1, and a ring-shaped waveguide 4 for shaping the radiation characteristic of the electric wave reflected by the disk-shaped reflecting plate 3 to a rotational symmetrical radiation characteristic is disposed around the perimeter of the disk-shaped reflecting plate 3. Thereby, even when many grooves 4a need to be formed in order to make the electric wave have a rotational symmetrical radiation characteristic, it is not necessary to increase the size of the disk-shaped reflecting plate 3 in the direction of its radius.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 13, 2004Publication date: February 7, 2008Inventors: Yoji Aramaki, Naofumi Yoneda, Yoshihiko Konishi, Izuru Naito, Toshiyuki Horie, Shuji Nuimura

Patent number: 7095380Abstract: An antenna apparatus in which a combination of rectangular waveguides 9a and 10a and a combination of rectangular waveguides 9b and 10b are disposed bilateral symmetrically to each other, and a waveguide orthomode transducer 13 is disposed above a waveguide orthomode transducer 8 is provided. Therefore, the profile of the antenna apparatus can be reduced and the stability of installation of the antenna apparatus can be improved without impairing the electric characteristics of the antenna apparatus. Since the antenna apparatus has a bilateral symmetric structure, it excels in weight balance and offers stable performance from the viewpoint of mechanism.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 2004Date of Patent: August 22, 2006Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Naofumi Yoneda, Moriyasu Miyazaki, Yoshio Inasawa, Yoshihiko Konishi, Shigeru Makino, Akio Iida, Izuru Naitoh, Toshiyuki Horie, Hiroyuki Satoh, Yutaka Shimawaki

Patent number: 7009574Abstract: In order to lessen the deterioration of the VSWR, a plural-reflector antenna system is provided wherein an appropriately shaped vertex matching plate is disposed on the subreflector and electric waves that reenter the primary radiator are cancelled out. The electric waves radiated from the primary radiator are reflected by the subreflector and are radiated into space after being reflected by the main reflector. The passing area in the horn aperture, through which the reflected waves from the vertex matching plate pass, is made to be analogous to the aperture of the primary radiator, by defining the vertex matching plate as an ellipsoid, and by orienting its minor-axis direction in the major-axis direction of the main reflector and its major-axis direction, in the minor-axis direction of the main reflector.Type: GrantFiled: August 12, 2004Date of Patent: March 7, 2006Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Izuru Naito, Kenji Kusakabe, Toshiyuki Horie, Syuji Nuimura
