  • Publication number: 20140005483
Abstract: A light source apparatus for supplying a light guide device incorporated in an endoscope with a light beam is provided. A light emitting device of semiconductor, for example, laser diode generates the light beam. A light homogenizer homogenizes irradiance distribution of the light beam in a radial direction. A short focus lens is disposed between the light homogenizer and the light guide device, for enlarging a divergence angle of the light beam. Furthermore, the light homogenizer is a transparent light guide rod disposed to extend in an optical axis direction of the light beam. A diameter of the light homogenizer is constant in an optical axis direction thereof. The diameter of the light homogenizer is equal to or less than a diameter of the short focus lens.

  • Patent number: 7978335
Abstract: In optical tomography measurement using light, the wavelength of which is periodically swept, interference light between reflection light and reference light is split into first interference light and second interference light by a light splitting means. • Patent number: 6954292
Abstract: After scan conditions are determined by the pre-scan, a temperature of a focus lens unit is measured. When the difference between the measured temperature and a set temperature data stored in a RAM is less than 4° C., a focus position is calculated based on set focus position data in the RAM and temperature correction data which is decided according to the temperature difference. When the temperature difference is 4° C. or more, a focus search operation is carried out to detect the focus position. Focus position data and temperature data, obtained by the focus search operation, are written in the RAM as set focus position data and set temperature data. It is possible to omit the focus search operation if temperature fluctuation is small.

  • Patent number: 6922265
Abstract: A line CCD scanner includes a photo film passageway in which developed photo film is positioned. A light source illuminates an image in the photo film positioned in the photo film passageway. A line CCD reads the image being illuminated. A mask member is secured to the photo film passageway. The image is positioned at the mask member. A mask slit is formed in the mask member, for directing light from the light source toward the photo film. The mask slit has a small width with reference to a predetermined direction. Furthermore, a protrusion portion is disposed on the mask member to extend in the width direction of the photo film, provided with the mask slit formed in a middle thereof, for flexing the photo film in the longitudinal direction to remove flexing in the width direction.

  • Patent number: 6788436
Abstract: A flow sensor detects a flow rate of cooling air from a compressor, and a determination is made as to whether or not the detected flow rate is abnormal. A determination is made by a diaphragm position sensor as to whether or not a diaphragm is located at such a critical position that a quantity of light illuminated onto a photographic film is large, possibly resulting in degeneration of a photographic film. A lamp is turned off if the diaphragm is located at the critical position and the flow rate of the cooling air is abnormal.
