  • Patent number: 6041265
Abstract: An operational control device of an image processing apparatus displays set color-balance settings on the corresponding keys with the corresponding figures and bar graphs. It also displays the title of a color-balance setting, as required. This facilitates the confirmation of set processing conditions in storing plural processing conditions for image processing, and also facilitates the selection of stored processing conditions to read. When a magnification is specified in the XY zoom mode, the key indicating that the mode has been specified is displayed. Pressing this key displays the XY zoom setting screen again. This facilitates the confirmation and change of set processing conditions.

  • Patent number: 6031631
Abstract: One of a plurality of image processing apparatus connected to an image processing system freely sets image forming conditions, such as recording paper size and enlargement/reduction magnification ratio, with regard to some or all of the other image processing apparatus, subsequently reads the image of an original by means of a reader, outputs image data indicative of the image read and transmits this image data to the other image processing apparatus. The image processing apparatus that has read the image of the original and the image processing apparatus that has received the image data output copies of the image of the original on the basis of the image forming conditions that have been set. Accordingly, it is possible to provide an image processing method and system in which a plurality of image processing apparatus are connected and identical images are outputted simultaneously from each of the apparatus connected.

  • Patent number: 5877867
Abstract: An image forming system has a plurality of image forming devices connected via a network. The system includes an image processor which processes an input image signal to produce a processed image signal. Respective additional information is superimposed on the processed image signal in a form that is not conspicuous to the human eye in preparation for transfer of the processed image signal to each of the plurality of image forming devices, with the respective additional information being different for each of the plurality of image forming devices. The processed image signal with the respective additional information superimposed thereon is transferred via the network to the respective ones of the image forming devices via the network.

  • Patent number: 5809363
Abstract: A system is constructed by connecting a plurality of digital copying machines (stations) having a common structure, and a master station 1001 and slave stations 1002 to 1004 are defined in accordance with their addresses. The master station 1001 issues a status request command to the slave stations at a predetermined time interval in order to gather information on the status of each slave station. The status which can be used in the system are recognized, depending upon the information, and a user selects the station or stations to be used. One of the station is made to read an original image, and the image is printed by the selected station or stations. The above constructed image processing system results in good expandability.
