  • Publication number: 20090161992
Abstract: An image resolution increasing method include setting a first block which is included in a low resolution image and is located at a first position, and a second block which is included in a high resolution image and is located at a second position, and setting, as an increasing resolution block of the first block, a third block expressed by a second vector obtained by projecting a first vector representing the second block to a linear manifold as a set of vectors that indicate fourth blocks of the second block size, the fourth blocks becoming the first block due to reduced resolution, in a Euclidean space having, as the number of dimensions, a product of the number of pixels arranged vertically in the second block size and the number of pixels arranged horizontally in the second block size.

  • Publication number: 20090136132
Abstract: A method for improving quality of an image includes storing feature quantity candidates each having a luminance component for improving of quality of a first image, dividing the first image into blocks with an overlapping region formed between adjacent first and second blocks, assigning first and second feature quantity candidates selected from the feature quantity candidates of the storage to the first and second blocks, respectively, calculating an energy expressing each similarity between first and second luminance patterns of the first and second feature quantity candidates in the overlapping region, selecting one first feature quantity and one second feature quantity from the first and second feature quantity candidates, using the energy, and improving qualities of the first and second blocks using the first and second feature quantities to generate a second image.

  • Patent number: 7516080
Abstract: A collection request inputted at a consignor destination system is recorded on an electronic tag attached to freight and sent to a collection management system so as to be received. During collection of freight, information concerning collection is recorded on the electronic tag by means of a terminal unit and the collection information is sent to the collection management system. An in-base station freight information management system informs a freight information overall management system of the collection information and information concerning freight passing through the base station. The freight information overall management system acquires a transport history of the freight on the basis of the information sent from the in-base station freight information management system, calculates a delivery schedule of the freight and informs it to each in-base station freight information management system.

  • Patent number: 6996535
Abstract: A client is connected to a server for providing electronic commerce services in electronic commerce. An order is transmitted for a product in response to an input by a user to the server through a communications network. A trading identifier associated with the order and data on the contents of the order is received from the server, which is stored in a storage device. Associated trading processing information includes a present status of processing for processing initiated for the order, a present status of processing for delivery of the product corresponding to the order, a present status of processing for payment processing for the trading, and the trading identifier. During updating, a trading identifier is compared with trading identifiers included in the stored trading processing information, and a warning is output if they are not coincident. Updated trading processing information is added to the trading information stored in the storage device if they are coincident.

  • Publication number: 20020111864
Abstract: A coupon management system transmits or broadcasts a coupon information from a broadcasting/transmitting system to a receiving system together with a program or commercial message. The receiving system generates a coupon issuance request on the basis of the coupon information, and attaches to the request an identifier of the program or commercial message with which the coupon information is provided. The coupon issuance request attached with the identifier is transmitted from the receiving system to a service center. The service center issues a coupon on the basis of the coupon issuance request and calculates a number of issued coupons for each program or commercial message.
