  • Publication number: 20210300183
Abstract: An in-vehicle display apparatus includes: an image generating unit, an emitting unit, and a reflecting unit. The image generating unit generates, for display information that is presented to a user, an image that includes a right-eye image and a left-eye image with a parallax. The emitting unit emits a projection light that is a light flux that contains the image. The reflecting unit reflects the projection light and forms a stereoscopic image that is superimposed on an outside view. The image generating unit generates the image in which a fusion distance of the stereoscopic image of the display information is changed, within a predetermined period of time, from a current visual distance to a target distance at which the display information is to be ultimately displayed.

  • Patent number: 10756507
Abstract: A process of forming a semiconductor optical device is disclosed. The semiconductor optical device provides a waveguide structure accompanied with a heater for varying a temperature of the waveguide structure. The process includes steps of: (a) forming a striped mask on a semiconductor substrate; (b) selectively growing a dummy layer on the semiconductor substrate; (c) removing the patterned mask; (d) burying the dummy layer by a supplemental layer; (e) exposing a portion of the dummy layer by etching a portion of the supplemental layer; (f) and removing the dummy layer by immersing the dummy layer within a solution that shows an etching rate for the dummy layer enough faster than an etching rate for the supplemental layer and the substrate so as to leave a void in a region the dummy layer had existed.

  • Patent number: 5531225
Abstract: There is provided a measuring apparatus for alcohol contained in an exhalation, the measuring apparatus measuring concentration of alcohol with a high accuracy in a short time. An alcohol sensor is provided inside an air passage to measure concentration of alcohol contained in air passing through the air passage. The alcohol sensor has a sensing element for sensing alcohol and a heating element for heating the sensing element. A suction pump is provided to the air passage so as to suction air from an inlet of the air passage. The sensing element is situated inside an air trapping chamber so that the air flowing through the air passage does not directly hit the sensing element.
