  • Patent number: 5728486
Abstract: An electronic apparatus of the invention comprises a case 10 which has a cell storing part 11 and has an engaging groove 11a formed in a side wall of an opening of the cell storing part as well as an engaging hollow 11b formed near the opening. A cell cover 20 having an engaging claw 21 formed is engaged with the engaging groove of the cell holding part. A locking plate which is a flexible plate-shaped member is fixed to the cell cover in its one end and is made free in the other end. When the cell cover is fitted onto the cell storing part, this locking plate is engaged with the engaging hollow 11b in its free end. By such a simple construction as this, it is possible to simply and securely lock the cell cover as well as to reduce the number of components and shorten the assembling time.

  • Patent number: 5724654
Abstract: In a structure of a housing of a pager receiver having a terminal for external connection for external communication of data, a battery cover for removably covering a battery receptacle portion, a locking piece for locking the battery cover at the position covering said battery receptacle portion and an opening portion for permitting external connection of the terminal. The locking piece locks the battery cover, and, in conjunction therewith, closes the opening. The locking piece is movable for exposing the opening as shifted in a condition where the battery cover is released away from the battery receptacle portion.

  • Patent number: 5657205
Abstract: A mounting structure of the vibration-generating-motor comprises a vibration-generating-motor and a holder for holding the vibration-generating-motor. A holding section of the holder contacts faced inner surfaces of a case and is held by the inner surfaces. Vibrations of the vibration-generating-motor are directly conveyed to the case through the holding section. For assembling, the holder holding the motor passes through a circuit board and is fixed by a hole formed on the circuit board. Then, the both ends of the holder are brought into contact with faced inner surfaces of the case so that the holder is held by the inner surfaces. The above structure enables vibrations of a vibration-generating-motor to be efficiently conveyed to the surface of the case and reduces undesirable sounds due to resonance of a circuit board.

  • Patent number: 5645954
Abstract: In an electronic device having a battery holder which has first and second walls to define a battery cavity for receiving a dry battery, the battery holder has a movable terminal which is movably mounted on the second wall to be moved toward the first wall. A battery cover has an arm which is projected toward the movable terminal and which is engaged with a contact plate of the movable terminal to move the contact plate toward a stationary terminal which is fixed on the first wall when the battery cover covers the battery cavity. The dry battery is held between the stationary terminal and the contact plate in the cavity.
