    Abstract: The gas circuit breaker includes a sealed container filled with an arc-extinguishing gas, a pair of fixed arc electrodes arranged in the sealed container to be opposite to each other, a trigger electrode movably arranged between the fixed arc electrodes and generating an arc discharge according to movement, a pressurization chamber pressuring and increasing a pressure of the arc-extinguishing gas with pressurization means, and a pressure accumulation chamber in communication with the pressurization chamber and accumulating the pressurized arc-extinguishing gas. The trigger electrode switches the pressure accumulation chamber into a closed state or an open state. The pressure accumulation chamber is switched to the closed state in a first half of breaking of the electric current, and the pressure accumulation chamber is switched to the open state in a latter half of breaking of the electric current. The arc-extinguishing gas in the pressure accumulation chamber is guided to the arc discharge.

    Abstract: According to an embodiment, a gas insulated electrical equipment includes: a high-voltage conductor to be electrically charged; a hermetically sealed tank to be filled with insulating gas, one or more insulating spacers for dividing the hermetically sealed tank into gas compartments and supporting the high-voltage conductor; and a pressure release device equipped with a mouth of flow channel adapted to allow the inside and the outside of the hermetically sealed tank to communicate with each other so as to release the pressure in the hermetically sealed tank, which maintains the hermetically sealed state in an ordinary condition where the pressure in a gas compartment does not exceed the working pressure but releases the pressure in the hermetically sealed tank in an abnormal condition where the pressure in the gas compartment exceeds the working pressure.

    Abstract: A pair of fixed arc electrodes are arranged facing each other within a sealed container that is filled with arc-extinguishing gas 1. There are provided: a compression puffer chamber for accumulating pressurized gas that is obtained by elevating the pressure of the arc-extinguishing gas; and an insulated nozzle that directs the pressurized gas towards the arc discharge from the compression puffer chamber. A buffer chamber is provided, in which hot exhaust gas generated by the heat of the arc discharge is temporarily accumulated. A pressurized gas through-flow space is provided, communicating with the compression puffer chamber. In the pressurized gas through-flow space, an opening/closing section prevents inflow of hot exhaust gas by assuming a closed condition during the earlier half of the current interruption period, and in the latter half of the current interruption period the opening/closing section 41 is opened to allow flow of pressurized gas.

The light collection means collects the emission spectrum of a measurement subject. The extraction means extracts beams having the wavelength of the atomic spectral lines and a beam having a wavelength in a wavelength region where there are no atomic spectral lines, from the emission spectrum collected by the aforementioned light collection means. The optical intensity calculation means calculates the optical intensities of the beams extracted by the aforementioned extraction means.     Abstract: The invention secures superior performance by restraining carbon generation also when using as an arc extinguishing medium a gas comprising the element C and having a global warming potential lower than that of SF6 gas. A fixed contact section and a movable contact section are arranged opposite each other inside a sealed container filled with an insulating gas. A fixed arc contact and a movable arc contact are provided in the fixed contact section and the movable contact section. The insulating gas is a mixed gas of a gas comprising the element C, as the main constituent, and other gases. The presence of O2 gas in the mixed gas has the effect of restraining the amount of carbon generated. Adding H2 to the mixed gas has the effect of enhancing arc extinguishing performance, compensating for the diminished performance derived from not using actively the thermal energy of the arc.
