  • Publication number: 20090223940
Abstract: A bimetallic thin plate jointing element that is jointed, such that a good electric characteristics are maintained, is provided. Thin plate jointing element (10) is formed by welding and jointing positive-electrode terminal (1) and negative-electrode terminal (2) having different melting points, and having flexibility. A plurality of spot-like welding areas (3) formed, for example, by laser welding are provided at overlaid portion (9) of positive-electrode terminal (1) and negative-electrode terminal (2). Welding areas (3) are formed by irradiating laser beams from the side of positive-electrode terminal (1) having a relatively low melting point, and have a cross sectional shape that is tapered from the side of positive-electrode terminal (1) side toward negative-electrode terminal (2).

  • Publication number: 20070152235
Abstract: Laminated cell (1) according to the present invention has a structure wherein a stacked electrode assembly comprising pole plate (61) of first polarity and pole plate (62) of second polarity is sealed by lamination sheets (7). Junction terminal (90) is of a unitary structure produced by covering connector junction (22) which provides an electric junction surface between first electrode terminal (71) and second connector (82), with covering resin (8). Junction terminal (90) is electrically connected to pole plate (61) of first polarity. Second electrode terminal (72) is electrically connected to pole plate (62) of second polarity. In a pack battery made up of unit cells each comprising laminated cell (1), second connector (82) of junction terminal (90) of laminated cell (1) and second electrode terminal (72) of another laminated cell (1) are joined to each other by welding or the like.
