A control channel is constituted of one or more first elements. The mobile station apparatus sets a search space for performing decoding detection of the control channel within a control channel region in which each of the first elements is constituted of resources in one physical resource block, and a search space for performing decoding detection of the control channel within a control channel region in which each of the first elements is constituted of second elements in a plurality of different physical resource blocks. Each of the second elements is resources obtained by dividing one physical resource block. The mobile station apparatus performs decoding detection of the control channel using the first elements in the set search spaces.
