Patent number: 10563804Abstract: Provided is a snap tap mounting jig for mounting a snap tap where the generation of buckling can be prevented by reducing a diameter enlarging pressing force of a diameter enlarging roller, a shim can be mounted on both end surfaces of the diameter enlarging roller, and a fold-back deformation amount of a metal sleeve can be checked from the outside. The snap tag mounting jig is also characterized as follows. The diameter enlarging roller is formed into a hyperboloid shape, and the recessed portion is formed such that a substantially upper half portion of the diameter enlarging roller mounted obliquely is formed into a substantially tapered shape, and a substantially lower half portion of the diameter enlarging roller mounted obliquely is formed into a rounded shape.Type: GrantFiled: November 29, 2016Date of Patent: February 18, 2020Assignee: YONE CORPORATIONInventors: Toyohiko Yoneda, Tetsuzo Yoneda, Norio Doman

Patent number: 9719621Abstract: In a snap tap forming method, a partition wall formed along a curvature of a water pipe outer peripheral wall surface is brought into hermetical pressure contact with the water pipe outer peripheral wall and is mounted on the outer peripheral wall at a position corresponding to an inflow opening portion of a gate valve and at which a snap tap of the water pipe is formed. A center drill guide small hole aligned with the snap tap axis is drilled in a center portion of partition wall. A drilling machine inserted in a water flow sleeve of the gate valve is inserted into the aforementioned small hole. A water diverting port is formed in the partition wall and a peripheral wall of the water pipe using a core drill by advancing the drilling machine while estimating a drilling center. Then the drilling machine is removed from a water flow passage in the gate valve, and the snap tap is connected to the water diverting port by a snap tap attaching tool.Type: GrantFiled: March 24, 2014Date of Patent: August 1, 2017Assignee: Yone CorporationInventors: Toyohiko Yoneda, Tetsuzo Yoneda, Norio Doman

Patent number: 7137575Abstract: A nozzle for use with a fire hose is capable of varying a discharge pattern while maintaining the total water discharge amount at a fixed level. A first tube 4 is connected to a fire hose, a second tube 5 is screwed onto the first tube, and a throttle valve 40 is disposed on the inside of the second tube. A throttled portion 10 between the second tube and the throttle valve maintains the total water discharge amount at a fixed level. The position of the second tube 5 is varied by rotating a grip 42, and thus the total water discharge amount setting is varied. A third tube 13 is screwed onto the second tube, and a fourth tube 14 is screwed onto the third tube. The position of the third tube 13 is varied by rotating a grip 60, and thus the discharge pattern is varied. The position of the fourth tube 14 is varied by rotating a grip 66, and thus the flow rate of a self-protection water spray is regulated.Type: GrantFiled: July 6, 2004Date of Patent: November 21, 2006Assignee: Yone CorporationInventor: Toyohiko Yoneda
