    Abstract: A polyphenylenesulfide composition for powder coating is disclosed. The composition comprises polyphenylenesulfide resin powder and hydrophobic silica, wherein the hydrophobic silica is added to said resin powder in the form of ultrafine particles in an amount of 0.05 to 0.6% by weight of hydrophobic silica based on the total weight of the composition, wherein the ultrafine particles have been subjected to a surface hydrophobic treatment by a silylating agent, and wherein the primary particles of ultrafine particles of the hydrophobic silica have an average diameter of 0.1 .mu.m or less.
