  • Patent number: 10749862
Abstract: A client (such as a PC, portable telephone, PDA, electrical appliances), to which a device such as a IC card is connected, starts a handshake protocol to request a server to start communication. When communication is established via the handshake protocol, the initiative of communication is transferred to the server, and the state changes into a neutral state. In this neutral state, a control packet including a particular number of messages and a finished message is transmitted from the server to the client. If the client receives the control packet, the client performs a process according to the messages included in the control packet. This makes it possible to remotely control a device via a network in a highly reliable and efficient manner.

  • Publication number: 20200109324
Abstract: Provided is an adhesive layer-equipped transparent surface material that can easily be bonded to another surface material (a display panel, etc.) and that, when bonded to another surface material, is less likely to have voids left at the interface between the adhesive layer and another surface material. An adhesive layer-equipped transparent surface material 1 comprises an adhesive layer 14 formed on at least one surface of a protective plate 10 (a transparent surface material), wherein the adhesive layer 14 has a layer portion 18 spreading over the surface of the protective plate 10 and a barrier portion 20 surrounding the periphery of the layer portion 18; and the layer portion 18 has a shear modulus at 35° C. of from 0.5 to 100 kPa.

  • Publication number: 20140178619
Abstract: An adhesive layer-equipped transparent plate 1 comprising a transparent plate 10 and an adhesive layer 14 formed on one surface of the transparent plate 10, wherein the adhesive layer 14 has a layer portion 18 spreading over the surface of the transparent plate 10 and the seal portion 20 surrounding the periphery of the layer portion 18; and the layer portion 18 is made of a cured product of a layer portion-forming curable resin composition comprising a curable compound (II) containing a specific urethane acrylate oligomer (A), a monomer (B) and a monomer (C), and a non-curable oligomer (III) which does not undergo a curing reaction with the curable compound (II) at the time of curing and which has a hydroxy group.

  • Patent number: 5634134
Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining at least one of a character and a destination therefor in accordance with a received signal representing at least one of a plurality of characters and at least one character corresponding to at least one of a plurality of languages. Likelihood values for at least one of plurality of characters and each of the languages are evaluated, and at least one of the plurality of characters and one of the character languages are selected in accordance with the evaluated likelihood values thereof.

  • Patent number: 5535119
Abstract: An information processing equipment providing easy operations of changing-over character species, and, in which characters can be entered without being conscious of the designation of a character mode. Signals entered from an input device are handled in conformity with all of a romaji (Roman character) input system, a kana (Japanese syllabary) input system and an alphanumeric input system. Results obtained with the respective input systems are all displayed in the predetermined part of a display screen. In the equipment, the character mode intended by a user is estimated as to the entered character string, and is automatically selected. In another aspect of performance, a controller determines whether or not a character mode likelihood decision unit and a character code translation unit are started, in accordance with the results of the comparisons between the key code string and the registered contents of a learning information buffer.

  • Patent number: 5355505
Abstract: A list data sorting control method carried out by a data processing apparatus. Blocks are generated for demarcating or dividing meaningfully list data displayed on a display device. The list data located within the block are handled as movable units to be moved for rearranging the list data. When a plurality of the blocks bear inclusion relation to one another, rearrangement of the list data is performed in accordance with the inclusion relation.
