  • Patent number: 5645905
Abstract: A snap zipper includes strip-male and strip-female members, and at least its portion for fusing to a bag body is made of a material mainly composed of a polyester type elastomer or a polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) resin and that the resin of the portion for fusion has a bending modulus of elasticity of 10,000 kg/cm.sup.2 or below. At least its portion for fusion is made of a material having a composition including polyester type elastomer and a polyolefin type resin or polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) resin and a polyolefin type resin and the content of the polyolefin type resin in the composition is 3 to 50% by weight. In case of the snap zipper adapted to have a portion for fusing to the bag body and the male and female members, excepting the portion for fusion, the portion for fusion may be composed of copolymer of ethylene and acrylic acid ester or copolymer of ethylene and methacryic acid ester.

  • Patent number: 5603995
Abstract: A bag with a snap zipper according to the present invention has a bag body produced to cause the snap zipper to fuse via a portion for fusion to the bag body to a layer composed of a polyester type resin on the bag body. In the present invention, at least a portion in the snap zipper to be fused to the bag body is made of a material mainly composed of a polyester type elastomer or a polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) resin and that the resin of the portion for fusion has a bending modulus of elasticity of 10,000 kg/cm.sup.2 or below. At least its portion for fusion is made of a material having a composition including polyester type elastomer and a polyolefin type resin or polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) resin and a polyolefin type resin and that the content of the polyolefin type resin in the composition is 3 to 50% by weight.

  • Patent number: 5415904
Abstract: A snap fastener (11) having a base section (14), (17) to be welded to a bag body (22) is made of a linear chain low-density polyethylene (L-LDPE) or a compound resin of the linear chain low-density polyethylene and a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) as a sub-ingredient. A packaging bag is fabricated with the snap fastener from the bag body (22) and the pair of snap fastener half-members. When the snap fastener (11) is made of a compound resin of L-LDPE and LDPE, the composition ratio between them is set at 95-60 wt %:5-40 wt %. The melt index (MI) of the compound resin is set at a range of 1-15 g/10 minutes. The packaging bag body (22) is adapted to have an inner side layer made of L-LDPE. An outer side layer adhered to the inner side layer may be made of nylon so as to form the multilayered bag body.

  • Patent number: 4867927
Abstract: This invention relates to a process of producing sheets from thermoplastic resins and a screw used therefor. The resin extruder includes a cylinder and the screw. The resin is passed through a feeding section, a compressing section, a metering section, a mixing section, a shearing section and a stress relaxing section, which are successively positioned from a resin feeding side to a resin extruding side, and a molten film-shaped resin is extruded, and this film-shaped resin is passed in a co-current direction with cooling water and is cooled.

  • Patent number: 4863653
Abstract: This invention relates to a process of producing a thermoplastic resin sheet and equipment therefore. The equipment includes a first extruder of a high kneading type, a second extruder of a low kneading type and an extrusion die. A film-shaped resin extruded from the extrusion die is cooled by a cooling device, to thereby obtain the resin sheet. Additionally, a difference between pressures at the outlets of the first and second extruders is detected, and, in response to this difference between the pressures thus detected, the operating conditions of the first extruder are automatically controlled.

  • Patent number: 4729666
Abstract: This invention relates to a screw used in an equipment for molding thermoplastic resin, in which a mixing section is provided at a position adjacent a shearing section, and the pitch of a stress relaxation section is preset to the pitch, at which satisfactory kneading can be performed without giving high shearing to the resin. With this screw, even if high-speed extrusion molding is performed, the pressure of resin is not fluctuated, molded parts can avoid lowered material quality and outstanding molded parts can be provided.
