    Abstract: A photometer having asymmetrical apertures and with compensation for direction of incidence includes a photodetector, a mask having asymmetrical apertures and arranged before the photodetector and a compensation prism arranged either before or after the mask. The photometer is adapted to compensate for the difference in quantity of light incident on the photodetector caused by the mask depending on the difference in the direction of incidence of the light.

    Abstract: An automatic exposure camera and an autostrobo incorporated camera are disclosed. An automatic exposure camera comprises an ASA area plate rotatably supported on a camera lens housing and provided with a number of through-holes which successively vary an opening area, a light receiving element positioned opposite the through-holes and rotatably arranged at the back portion of the area plate, and an ASA ring being rotatably in accordance with an ASA sensitivity of a film and to position corresponding the light receiving element with the through-hole at a predetermined opening area, the area plate being made rotatable in accordance with a predetermined iris setting or a shutter setting as provided by the light receiving element.

    Abstract: A focus correcting device for use in a rangefinder camera is operable to correct for a displacement of the focal point of an imaging optics which results from a change in the diaphragm aperture of an apertured diaphragm. An interlocking mechanism operationally couples a rangefinder with a focus adjusting mechanism of the imaging optics. Means is disposed in the interlocking mechanism or the focus adjusting mechanism to correct for a displacement of the focal point as the particular diaphragm aperture is established.
