  • Publication number: 20170301874
Abstract: Provided is a narrow-frame organic EL panel for suppressing unevenness in the brightness of light emission. The present invention involves positioning the following on a translucent support substrate: a translucent first electrode to which power is supplied from an external power source via common wiring, a second electrode for forming a pair with the first electrode, and an organic EL element in which an organic layer having at least a light-emitting layer is sandwiched between the first electrode and the second electrode. In addition, a sealing member is positioned so as to cover the organic EL element in an airtight manner, an auxiliary electrode having a lower specific resistance than that of the first electrode is formed on the first electrode, a groove is provided in at least a section of the sealing member, and an auxiliary conductive part comprising a conductive material is positioned in the groove.

  • Publication number: 20130069051
Abstract: Disclosed is an organic EL element which requires a low electric power and can exhibit high reliability under high temperature environments. Specifically disclosed is an organic EL element produced by forming, between an anode (2) and a cathode (4) by lamination, an organic layer (3) which comprises at least a light-emitting layer (3b). The light-emitting layer (3b) is composed of at least a host material that has a ratio of the electron mobility (?eEM) to the hole mobility (?hEM) (i.e., a ?eEM/?hEM ratio) of 0.6 to 10 inclusive, a light-emitting dopant that can emit light, and a hole-transporting dopant. The light-emitting layer (3b) is characterized in that the ratio of the hole mobility (?hHT) of the hole-transporting dopant to the electron mobility (?eEM) of the host material (i.e., a ?hHT/?eEM ratio) is 0.1 to 10 inclusive.
