    Abstract: A method for tokenizing private finance may comprise receiving an indication of an investor's investment in an enterprise. Based on the investment, tokens representing equity in the enterprise may be issued to the investor. An indication of a transfer of the investor's shares in an enterprise to a voting trust may be received. Based on the transfer of the investor's shares to the voting trust, tokens representing ownership of interest in the voting trust may be issued to the investor. A distributed ledger transaction may be generated indicating a transfer of the tokens to an account of an investor associated with the investor. The transaction may be caused to be added to a distributed ledger.
