  • Patent number: 6616005
Abstract: A faceplate assembly for mounting to various wall, floor or ceiling mounted electrical boxes, such as a telecommunications box, that is easily assembled and disassembled, and in which the wiring device receiving modules are readily interchangeable. The faceplate assembly includes a plate for covering the box, holes in the plate aligned with holes in the box for securing the plate to the box, at least one aperture in the plate, at least two modules adapted to fit in the at least one plate aperture, and either a blank face on the module or at least one opening in the module for accessing a wiring device receptacle in the box with a wiring device. Fasteners received in the plate openings secure the plate to the box. A module is inserted in the at least one plate aperture from the front side of the plate, allowing a module to be removed and replaced with another module without having to remove the plate from the box.

  • Patent number: 6566602
Abstract: A cover for a wall mounted enclosure having a faceplate with first and second sides and an aperture extending through the plate. A screw retention assembly is coupled to the plate adjacent the aperture by a flexible mechanism that is more flexible than the plate. The flexible mechanism is bendable with respect to three separate axes relative to the faceplate, allowing the screw retention assembly to float with respect to the plate about those axes. This enables the faceplate to fit flush against the wall and the screw retention assembly to fit flush against the enclosure even when the enclosure is misaligned or depressed relative to the wall.

  • Patent number: 6215069
Abstract: A modular cable management panel assembly includes a panel, a set of rings mounted on a surface of the panel and a cover coupled to the rings. The rings are spaced along the panel longitudinal axis and have openings extending laterally through them. The cover is movable between a closed position extending over and closing the ring openings and an open position spaced from the ring openings to allow cables to pass laterally into and out of the rings. The panel assembly is adaptable for mounting various accessories.
