Abstract: An apparatus for displaying digital image data includes a display panel of a plurality of rows and columns of pixels. The selected ones of the pixels are activatable to form a visual representation of the digital image data. The apparatus further includes a memory module for storing the digital image data, and an image processing unit for converting the digital image data to a display signal transmitted to the display panel. There is also an audio input port receptive of a peripheral audio connector in electrical communication with an external signal source such as a portable media player. The apparatus includes an acoustic transducer for reproducing an audio signal from the external signal source.
