    Abstract: A cake holder uses an advantageous arrangement whereby flanges from the cover may be secured into slots in the base. The cover and base are each integral pieces of plastic. Resilience of the flanges on the cover causes them to press against a surface of handles which project out from the base so as to prevent the cover from becoming accidentally separated from the base.
