  • Publication number: 20230226552
Abstract: Dry reagent cup assemblies and methods are disclosed. In accordance with an implementation, an apparatus includes a liquid reservoir and dry reagent cup assembly. The liquid reservoir has a base, side wall that extends from the base, and distal opening. The dry reagent cup assembly coupled to the liquid reservoir includes a dry reagent cup and liquid impermeable barrier. The dry reagent cup has a cup base, cup side wall that extends from the cup base, and cup opening. The distal opening of the liquid reservoir faces the cup opening. The liquid impermeable barrier covers the cup opening and separates the liquid reservoir and the dry reagent cup. The dry reagent cup moves between an initial position outside the liquid reservoir and a rehydrating position where the dry reagent cup pierces and passes through an opening in the liquid impermeable barrier and is received within the liquid reservoir.

  • Publication number: 20230134019
Abstract: Systems and related manifold assemblies are disclosed. In accordance with an implementation, an apparatus comprises or includes a cassette assembly of a sipper manifold assembly comprising or having a cassette housing, one or more sipper tubes, one or more sipper couplings, and one or more biasing elements. The one or more sipper tubes comprise or have a proximal end and a distal end. The one or more sipper couplings is movably coupled to the cassette housing the proximal end of the sipper tubes are coupled to the sipper couplings. The one or more biasing elements bias the one or more sipper couplings. The one or more biasing elements allow relative movement between the sipper tubes and the cassette housing.

  • Publication number: 20220168737
Abstract: Well assemblies and related methods are disclosed. In accordance with an implementation, an apparatus includes a liquid reservoir containing a liquid and a well assembly including a body, a hydrophobic venting membrane, and a cover. The body defines a well and has an opening and a port. The port is couplable to the liquid reservoir. The hydrophobic venting membrane is coupled to the body and covers the opening and cover covers the hydrophobic venting membrane. As the liquid is flowed into the well via the port, the hydrophobic venting membrane vents gas contained within the well.

  • Publication number: 20110208771
Abstract: The invention is a computerized process for the collaborative finding and understanding of information on the World Wide Web through the end user input of queries in the form of text and images, which in turn filter interchangeable localized and third party databases resulting in the output of a specific set of search results. This computerized process is embodied by online software that enables end users to first input text or images and secondly manually drag and drop that input into an arrangement within a spatial environment. Communication features then make it possible for communication to occur between users in order to facilitate the understanding of a given input. The arrangement of text and images, as well as the selection of local and third party databases, may be saved so that one or multiple users may return for further input and communication at a later date and time.
