Abstract: A method, system and article of manufacture incorporates a financial institution computer system for extracting financial data within a data base, formatting the data and transmitting the formatted data via electronic mail. Electronic information on financial accounts of a customer is maintained within the data base in the financial institution computer system. The electronic information is processed to identify and extract pre-selected data and the processed data is electronically formatted for transmission to the customer via electronic mail to a location designated by the customer via electronic mail for storage within and readout on a computer system of the customer.
