Abstract: Musical instrument support apparatuses can enable a performer to play an instrument in the standing position without supporting the instrument with a strap and without dampening vibrations from the instrument. In one example, a musical instrument support assembly includes a base to couple with a stand, two support arms including a first support arm coupled with a first end of the base with a first fastener, and a second support arm coupled with a second end of the base with a second fastener, and at least one support element coupled with each of the two support arms to support a musical instrument. At least one support element coupled with each of the two support arms includes an instrument securing element to contact and secure the musical instrument to the base.
