Abstract: A patient support apparatus for use in treating patients with behavioral health indicia, including a base supporting wheels for movement along a floor surface, a litter for supporting a patient, and a lift mechanism to move the litter relative to the base between a lowered position and a raised position. A skirt barrier having a bottom edge defining a periphery is operatively attached to the litter for concurrent movement with the litter between an exposed configuration and a shield configuration. The exposed configuration corresponds to the raised position and is defined with the bottom edge spaced vertically above the base. The shield configuration corresponds to the lowered position and is defined with the bottom edge arranged adjacent to the floor surface and with the periphery extending around the base to at least partially limit external access to the base.

Abstract: An apparatus for the automated filling of cartridges of e-vapor devices may include a filling drum configured to receive at least one cartridge of an e-vapor device. The apparatus may additionally include a needle assembly including at least one hypodermic needle. The needle assembly is configured to transition between a lowered state and a raised state. The lowered state is where the hypodermic needle is moved down into the cartridge, while the raised state is where the hypodermic needle is lifted up and away from the cartridge. The apparatus may further include a pump assembly configured to pump a pre-vapor formulation into the cartridge when the needle assembly is in the lowered state. The pump assembly may include a variable amplitude cam system configured to adjust an amount of the pre-vapor formulation for pumping to the cartridge without changing start and stop times for the pumping.

The second member can be coupled at a first end with the first member. A charging coupler can include a first switch disposed at the first member and operable to cause, in response to a movement of the second member to a first angle with the first member that engages the first switch, a charging device to electrically decouple the charging device from a vehicle. A charging coupler can include a second switch disposed at the first member and operable to cause, in response to a movement of the second member to a second angle with the first member that engages the second switch, the charging device to mechanically decouple the charging device from the vehicle.

Abstract: Computerized systems and methods are provided for automatically causing a visually-deemphasized effect to be applied to a portion of the graphical user interface (GUI) that excludes a GUI element of a computer application determined to be in a user-attention state. A user-attention state may correspond to a computer state associated with a GUI element that indicates that the GUI element on a screen has or should have a user's attention. GUI elements presented using a visually-deemphasized effect are presented in a visually altered manner, such as blurred, grayscale, or otherwise visually modified. Embodiments include monitoring and classifying user data and user activity associated with a GUI element. Based on the classification, the GUI element is determined to be in the user-attention state to cause the visually-deemphasized effect to be applied to a portion of the GUI that excludes the first GUI element.

Abstract: A beverage container. The container includes an inner canister. The inner cannister includes a base coupled to a wall. The wall includes a first wall region and a second wall region adjoining the first wall region. The base and the wall forms an interior region for containing a beverage. The container also includes a lid configured to be removably coupled to the inner canister via a screw mechanism. The lid includes one or more lid magnets. The system also includes an outer sleeve configured to be removably coupled to the inner canister. The outer sleeve includes one or more sleeve magnets. The lids magnets are configured to magnetically couple with the sleeve magnets such that the lid is magnetically stuck to the sleeve and appears to levitate adjacent to the sleeve when the lid magnets come within close proximity to the sleeve magnets.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a user interface process flow for posting content on a display device. The disclosed techniques include a user interface process that initiates a connection that enables a host device to receive content from a guest device in a secure and discrete manner. The host device utilizes one or more graphical elements to invoke a user input at the host device to verify that the user is physically present at the host device. In response to the user input, a server generates a connection identifier that is communicated to, and displayed at, the host device. The connection identifier and an address of a server are displayed at, or otherwise communicated from, the host device to a guest device. The guest device uses the connection identifier to establish a connection with the host device for delivery of content from the guest device for display on the host device.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system that enables manipulation of a persistent display of shared content. Content can be shared with a host device from a guest device. A rendering of the content is configured to be manipulated by a user at the host device. For instance, a rendering of the content can be resized, scaled, rotated and moved within a graphical user interface. Annotations can also be added to the rendering of the content. The rendering of the content can also be persistently and automatically displayed in response to a device operating in a predetermined state. The predetermined state can include, for example, a lock screen mode, a bulletin board mode, or a mode when application user interfaces are minimized. The rendering may be removed from a display when the device exits the predetermined state or when the device receives a specific command to remove the rendering.

The system first determines if a person if physically present at the host device by detecting an interaction with an input device attached to the host device. The display of a graphical element for communicating the connection identifier enables the guest device to receive the connection identifier. The graphical element can be a Quick Response (QR) code, bar code, text, etc. The guest device can send a connection request to the server using the connection identifier. In response to the request, the server verifies the connection identifier and establishes a data connection between the host device and the guest device. Data can be exchanged between the host device and the guest device via the server.

Abstract: A sliding center of gravity hammer is disclosed herein allows the user to slide a heavy weight to various positions in the barrel of the hammer for different applications. When more force is needed to drive a nail, the heavy weight could be locked in the first position which is closest to the hammer head. When less force is needed, the heavy weight could be locked in the third position which is closest to the handle end. The embodiment allows the user to adjust the weight of the hammer to the user's needs when working on many different applications which increases the operation efficiency and reduces risk of injury to the user.

Abstract: An insect attractant and eradicant composition providing two part insect control. Insects are drawn to a centralized attractant and as such removes their presence, annoyance, and harm from areas surrounding the attractant. The insecticidal properties associated with the attractant and eradicant composition then immobilizes and kills the insects for terminal removal from the area. The composition is made from essential oils and common household components for a non-toxic formulation to humans and animals, but retaining high insecticide effectiveness. The design of the composition and the dispenser provide for continuous and effective attractant properties through extreme deployment conditions and a dispenser that is capable of small to large numbers of insects.

Abstract: A method and system for mapping fractures in a subterranean formation by generating micro-seismic events within fractures using energetic fracturing fluid. The micro-seismic events may be generated by injecting reactive particles and explosive particles into the fractures. A triggering event may occur that allows the reactive particles to come into contact with a fluid within the fractures, causing energetic reactions. The explosive particles may detonate from the energy generated by the reactions.

Abstract: A method for removing uroliths from the urinary bladder of a non-human, non-laboratory animal, comprising: (a) inserting a collapsed retrieval pouch through the urethra and into the bladder; (b) opening the retrieval pouch in the bladder; (c) identifying a urolith transrectally, and placing the urolith into the opened retrieval pouch by transrectal manipulation; (d) fragmenting the urolith while the urolith is in the opened retrieval pouch; (e) flushing the fragments of the urolith out of the pouch; and then (f) removing the retrieval pouch from the bladder.
