  • Patent number: 11926006
Abstract: A method of manufacture is provided that includes providing a preform component. The preform component includes a blind aperture in an exterior of the preform component. The exterior of the preform component is machined to provide a machined component. An exterior of the machined component is inspected to determine a characteristic of the machined component, which characteristic of the machined component is associated with the blind aperture. Whether a feature of the machined component satisfies a standard is determined based on the characteristic of the machined component.

  • Publication number: 20200077624
Abstract: A durable and flexible pet toy may be made from special combinations of elastomeric materials, by selecting those materials useful for making strong, long-lasting flexible toys with rubberlike quality. The quality of a durable and flexible pet toy is in that it remains in its original form, for the most part, even after strong chewing and strong pulling by pets. It may also be long-lasting entertainment for pets, due to the resilient quality. This toy may withstand constant mechanical force imposed by strong pets, such as dogs. Embodiments of this toy may come in various colors, shapes and sizes, flavors and different textures. Additionally, different objects may be attached to the durable and flexible pet toy. For example, a rope or a bell, or another durable and flexible pet toy.

  • Publication number: 20170050102
Abstract: A modular fitness activity facility can include an enclosed structure defined by four connecting walls, one of the four connecting walls including an entrance having a locking mechanism restricting access to an interior of the enclosed structure. Fitness equipment and non-fitness materials can be removably disposed within the interior of the enclosed structure to configure the modular fitness activity facility in response to an indication by a user made using a computer portal for browsing available fitness equipment and non-fitness materials. Preference data associated with the indicated combination of equipment or materials can be stored in connection with a user profile associated with the user for subsequent reference. The fitness equipment and non-fitness materials can be removed from the enclosed structure to configure the modular fitness activity facility for use by a different user.

  • Publication number: 20070170214
Abstract: A surgical glove removal apparatus in which a crossmember supports one or more flanges that are able to be slipped between the wearer's glove and hand, so that when the hand is withdrawn, the flange peels the glove off away from the wearer. A shield is provided to prevent unwanted splatter, with the shield being adjustable virtually 360 degrees about the crossmember. The crossmember is supported by support legs that are able to be attached to virtually any surface angle, with the flanges able to be utilized with the apparatus attached to a floor surface, a table surface, a wall surface, or even an elevated or ceiling surface, allowing for complete versatility in the placement of this apparatus in a medical setting. The shield and flanges may be adjustable as to position for the user, with the height or extension of the support legs also adjustable so as to accommodate any mounting surface and make it appropriate for the mounting and use of this apparatus.

  • Patent number: 6651060
Abstract: Process and system for locating, copying and sending requested records, such as medical records. The system includes a data processing center which acts as a central clearing house for processing the requests, requesters that generate the requests, and providers in possession of the requested records. The data processing center associates requests and related authorization forms generated by the requestor and transmits them to a provider in possession of the requested record. The provider then locates and copies the requested record and sends a copy of the record to the data processing center. The data processing center encrypts a digital copy of the requested medical record and sends it to the requestor. The communication linkages between the various parties advantageously include the Internet. A call center may be employed to ensure provider compliance with the request.

  • Publication number: 20020124177
Abstract: Methods and systems for encrypting and decrypting electronic files and then limiting the ability to copy, alter or send the decrypted information so as to preserve the integrity of the file. The encryption and decryption systems involve an essentially symmetric cipher or key system in which the same key is used to both encrypt the original plaintext and decrypt the resulting ciphertext. The key, or cipher, includes public and private components. The “public key” is typically stored and sent together with the encrypted file in the form of a unique file type that includes the public key appended to the front encrypted file portion. A new public key is typically generated for each electronic file that is encrypted. The “private key” is known only to the encrypting and decrypting parties and may be used to encrypt and decrypt multiple files, or it may be uniquely generated for each encrypted file.
