    Abstract: An oscillating heat pipe (OHP) is provided. The OHP includes a heat pipe microchannel formed in a loop with a serpentine pattern. The serpentine pattern includes curved channels extending through cooling and heating sections and elongate channels extending through an adiabatic section defined between the cooling and heating sections. The OHP further includes a wick, a branch connected to a corresponding one of the elongate channels and a heating element. The branch is receptive of fluid from the corresponding one of the elongate channels via the wick. The heating element is disposed to heat the fluid in the branch.
