  • Publication number: 20250352719
Abstract: A mechanical infusion system includes a housing having top and bottom portions. A pair of sliding slots extend transversely along the bottom portion. A hinge causes the top portion to connect with the bottom portion to form a closed position and separate from the bottom portion to form an open position. The housing forms engagement and syringe receiving cavities to respectively receive a flange and barrel of a syringe. A movable pusher is biased towards the engagement cavity so as to apply force to a plunger of the syringe. The infusion system also includes linkages configured to move transversely in a first direction upon opening of the top portion to cause the pusher to move away from the engagement cavity and move transversely in a second, opposite direction upon closing of the top portion to allow the pusher to retract towards the engagement cavity within the sliding slots.

  • Publication number: 20200266013
Abstract: Mechanical keypads are disclosed. According to one embodiment, a mechanical keypad may include a key cap comprising a post extending from a bottom surface thereof; a structural element comprising a passage configured to receive the post therethrough; and a key securing device that securely receives, through the passage, the post in a recess or opening formed therein, and comprising a key switch interface on a lower surface thereof. The key cap and the key securing device may move substantially in unison when the key post is securely received in the key securing device.

  • Patent number: 10111701
Abstract: A bipolar electrosurgical forceps device having a handle at the proximal end and forceps jaws at the distal end is described. These two ends are connected via an elongated tubular section that houses the actuating member for controlling the motion of the forceps at the distal end relative to the motion of the proximal handle. A dovetail member connects the forceps to a shaft that is slidably disposed in the tubular section at the distal end of the device, where the tubular section constrains the motion of the two jaws perpendicular relative to the axial direction. A coupling member is attached to the actuating member where drive slots interact with the drive pins on the forceps, whereby squeezing the handle causes the desired relative parallel opening or closing motion of the forceps jaws.
