  • Patent number: 10703538
Abstract: A compartmentalization system for an industrial tote includes a base; side walls, which include recesses for retaining bins within the tote; and end walls. The tote may include eight recesses in each side wall for receiving a pair of inserts on a bin. The bins typically include two or four tabs. The bins that are used with the tote system include a base, opposed side walls, and end walls that define the interior of the bin. Typically, a lip formed at the top of the side and end walls to improve strength and stability. The tabs are formed on the exterior of at least one side wall. The tab is inserted into the recess in the tote. Each tab includes a riser that is substantially normal to the sidewall and a tab formed at the end of the riser so that the tab is spaced apart from the sidewall.

  • Publication number: 20170174112
Abstract: A nesting tilt-truck includes a metal frame and a container body. A pair of large wheels are rotatably mounted on a common axle that is in turn mounted on the metal frame near the junction of the container body front wall and base. A second caster wheel or wheels, which house a self-contained axle that allows the wheel(s) to rotate, is mounted on the metal frame near the junction of the container body rear wall and base. The caster wheel(s) are configured to pivot about a vertical axis in order to easily steer the tilt-truck during use of the tilt-truck. The container body is formed with a kick-out wall that inclines rearwardly to form a pocket for seating the wheels of a second tilt-truck when one tilt-truck is nested inside a second tilt-truck.

  • Publication number: 20140173957
Abstract: The present invention provides a label clip for use with a bin divider, having a first major face and a second label bearing face. Typically, the first major face and the second label bearing face are angled from one another by an angle of approximately 0-60° and preferably by about 20°. The faces are connected to a divider of a bin system by an extension leg and a retaining leg and preferably an insertion leg. One or more reinforcing sections may link the extension leg and label face. The clip may also optionally include one or more gripping sections protruding from the extension leg toward the major face.

  • Patent number: 8342329
Abstract: A stackable storage bin includes a body having a rim extending around an open top. A first angled slot is formed in an upper edge of each side wall adjacent a rear end thereof and a vertical second slot is formed in the upper edge of each side wall at a position forwardly from the first slot. An angled first tab is formed adjacent the bottom edge of each side wall in a position vertically aligned with the first slot and a vertical second tab is formed adjacent a bottom edge of each side wall at a position vertically aligned with the vertical second slot whereby when two of the bins are in the vertically stacked array, the tabs on the bottom of an upper bin engage the slots on the lower bin to interlock the two bins together.

  • Publication number: 20120043289
Abstract: A two tone storage bin for a product includes a body having a bottom wall and two opposed side walls, a front end wall of a first color and a rear end wall of a second color connected thereto. The two end walls have a height lower than a height of the side walls to form a front bin opening and a rear bin opening. A divider wall is positioned midway of the body to form a front hopper and a rear hopper, each of which is filled with a product. When the front hopper is empty and product in the bin needs replenishing, the bin is turned around so that the rear end wall of the second color faces outwardly to provide a visual indicator that replenishment of the product in the bin is needed while there is still product left in the rear hopper.
