Patent number: 10263850Abstract: A network testing device is provided in order to validate network topology information and test various other attributes of a network. The network testing device may, in response to a command, obtain connection information from a network indicated in the command. The connection information may be compared to network topology information corresponding to the network. The network topology information may indicate which interfaces of a network device should be to be connected to which interfaces of other network devices. The network testing device may then return, in response to the command, a result of the comparison. Furthermore, the network testing device may return result of other network test performed by the network testing device on the network device.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 2016Date of Patent: April 16, 2019Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Paolo Gianrossi, Kevin Michael Dzierwinski, Cong Wu, Jacques Joshua Richard, Travis Steven Pepper

Patent number: 10063452Abstract: A method and apparatus for testing a communication link are disclosed. In the method and apparatus, a routing loop is established between two devices connected by the communication link, and data is routed between the two devices over the communication link. One or more performance measures of the communication link are obtained based at least in part on the data routing. The one or more performance measures are then used to determine whether the communication link is defective.Type: GrantFiled: January 5, 2015Date of Patent: August 28, 2018Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Kevin Michael Dzierwinski, Girish Anand, Travis Steven Pepper, Kent David Forschmiedt, Lisa Huang, Jacques Joshua Richard

Publication number: 20110068140Abstract: A load carrier with a retracting elongate securement device, the load carrier having a support arrangement with a vehicle interfacing portion and a load support interfacing portion, as well as a load support which interfaces with the support arrangement. The load support is configured to receive and carry cargo loads thereupon and has an elongate tubular member having an extendible member received therein. The load carrier further has a biasing member operatively interposed between the elongate tubular member and the extendible member, the biasing member exerting a retracting force on the extendible member thereby urging the extendible member to a retracted configuration within the elongate tubular member.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 22, 2010Publication date: March 24, 2011Inventors: James Travis Stevens, Keith Prescott

Publication number: 20100229540Abstract: An exhaust system for a marine engine comprising liquid cooled manifold and catalytic converter assemblies. Each assembly uses a separate cooling system to cool either the exhaust manifold or a shell inside which resides the catalytic converter. The housing or shell containing the catalytic converter uses water to cool an exterior surface of a water jacket to an acceptable temperature conforming to federal regulations. The liquid-cooled manifold assembly may use either water or glycol to cool a jacket surrounding tubes extending from the engine block to the catalytic converter assembly.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 9, 2010Publication date: September 16, 2010Applicant: INDMAR PRODUCTS COMPANY INC.Inventors: Richard J. Patent number: 6425618Abstract: An extendable support mechanism for a cargo bed of a pickup truck or the like. One or more support members are attached to opposite sides of the cargo bed and adapted to be positioned vertically upwardly from the cargo bed in order to support a tent-like structure or an object which is also positioned in part on the cab of the vehicle. Preferably, three tubular support members are provided in the support mechanism. Each of the tubular members are comprised of two telescopic members and are extendable in order to vary the height of the support member in the vertical direction in order to be used to hold members on the top of the vehicle. The support mechanism can be attached to an articulating bracket member which allows the support member also to be used as a cargo bed extender when desired, and also to be rotated to a stored position inside the cargo bed. In an alternate embodiment, the support members are held in vertical position on the sides of the cargo bed by fixed bracket members.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 2001Date of Patent: July 30, 2002Assignee: Ford Global Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Travis Steven Garland, Warren L.
