    Abstract: A padding assembly including a first pad member which is placed between the garment and the accessory to be protected, and a second pad member that extends over the first pad member in engagement therewith, with the accessory being sandwiched between the pad members. After dry cleaning and/or laundering, the pad members can easily be detached and removed from the accessory and the garment.
