    Abstract: The present invention discloses an elastic drawstring bag constructed from a first panel and a second panel. The first panel and the second panel are continuously joined along a first side, a bottom, and a second side. The bag defines a first upper corner, a second upper corner, and a bag width. A first hem extends between the first upper corner and the second upper corner, with a first elastic drawstring disposed within the first hem. A first one or more seals is proximate to the first upper corner of the bag, the first one or more seals welding the first elastic drawstring, the first panel, and the second panel together. A second one or more seals is proximate to the second upper corner of the bag, the second one or more seals welding the first elastic drawstring, the first panel, and the second panel together.

    Abstract: The present invention is generally directed toward a product, such as a trash bag or other flexible, walled container, that is manufactured using a tubular film of biodegradable material. The product is a biodegradable bag being manufactured by folding at least one time along a longitudinal line, and sealing together the plurality of layers of the folded tubular film of biodegradable material. The tubular film is also provided with a first and second transverse cut. The first transverse cut is adjacent to the seal on a first side of the seal to define the bottom of the bag. The second transverse cut is spaced away from the seal on a second side of the seal to define the upper opening of the bag.

    Abstract: A method and system for improved plastic compactor bags is provided by the present invention. In particular, the present invention discloses a method of using plastic compactor bags having flaps for use with a compactor, such that the plastic flapped bag with two or more flaps is placed into the container of a compactor having a front panel in close proximity to the container. The flaps of the plastic compactor bag are provided such that a person installing the bag can pull the plastic bag over an upper edge of the container to facilitate securing the plastic flapped compactor bag onto the container of the compactor. Furthermore, the present invention discloses a system of a plastic flapped compactor bag placed within a container of a compactor. Finally, the present invention discloses a method of removal of a plastic flapped compactor bag from a container of a compactor.
